What are your personal thoughts on the C8L? Is the small loss of throw worth the extra spill and brightness at close to medium ranges? Would this make a better all-purpose hiking/camping light than the C8G's? Do you find the brightness at each mode and the battery efficiency to be more desirable than the C8G modes/battery?

Personally I like it more than the former c8g. It's gives both powerful throw and flood. Its ui is useful to me. In normal mode, 4 brightness levels are really good. But it should havae smooth ramping mode like the c8g. It can run on turbo mode longer than c8g. The design is better. It looks better and deals with heat well. However, it doesn't have space to attach a clip. Overall, it's better than the former c8g. I hope there will be xhp70.3 version. Thanks for watching sir 😊.

C8L is only 3100 lumens and it is more on spotlight while the sp36 is more of a thrower and has a 8000 lumens.. Btw i have them both
