Sub for approximately one year and I was watching you do different kayak reviews. The only problem with Temu is their user agreement in which you give them pretty much full access to your entire phone. I have an old phone I cleared it out and it just has the Temu app on it and I use a pre paid credit card to purchase stuff. Never had an issue. Thank you for the great content.

I found you through my man friend, who helped me last winter find a kayak (for the northern part of lower Michigan). And subscribed to your channel last night after watching the chat last Sunday.

Been with you since the beginning and four d out about you when the wife and I bought our kayaks at your shop. The full holder and eye bolts look good. Overall, all of the items loom pretty good for the money. I'm with you though, I carry a better whistle. Great video 👍

Those metal rings are thicker because inferior metal needs more metal to be strong. I am sure they will work fine, but I doubt they are any stronger than the other ones you have.
I found items from Temu are hit and miss. I never felt that any item was a ripoff given the price. Kayak cup holder for rail mount was actually real good quality. I think I selected a different model than the one in the video.
I started buying stuff from Temu about 3 months ago. About 80% of their stuff is great! Really good jigging lures and some great knock-off hooks that seem to me are just as good as my Gamakatsu hooks.
@@thebeardedpaddler Well you definitely have to search a lot to find the really good ones. My first couple of hook orders landed in my 20% of not-so-great items. But I finally found live bait hooks that when I compare them side-by-side to my Gamakatsu hooks, I can’t notice any material difference. And so far, they’ve held up in punishing salt water conditions as well.
There is multiple reasons it’s so cheap. One is they don’t have copyright laws in China so they can let other companies do all the research and development and figure everything out and come up with a final product and then China can literally steal the blueprints and make it with a cheap material sometimes or sometimes make it the same way but since they don’t have all the trial and error research and development. That’s right off the top then you have labor and all that other stuff in the mix too. Why Temu is still around and not wish is because there are good when it comes to payment and not stealing card info and wish was constantly getting people screwed over with their bank accounts

Some of them are good backup items too. They can get you out of a pinch and also decent for light duty

i have the same opinion. about 90% of what i got is sufficient for what I would use it for. I had low expectations though lol

Not saying they are. But I would run bungee through it or keep them as backups

I don't know if I would compare to Gama hooks but some of the stuff is pretty decent for light use.
