- Here is the complete installation guide and tutorial about a 6kw hybrid solar system which we installed in Westridge Rawalpindi Pakistan.
Hybrid solar systems are those system in which we can avail not only net metering facility by green meter but also got battery backup for emergency electrical loads in case of load shedding.
The grid tie solar inverter used in this system Solar MAX onyx PV 9000 6kw hybrid solar inverter which have 9000 watts pv capacity and 48v battery capacity. So in this system we used a lithium ion battery Pylontech UP5000 100AH 48V for backup.
Gader and C channel are used for solar structure fabrication for panels mounting on the roof top and pv panels are JA 545 watts solar panels.
In this video I covered all basic points about pylontech battery installation pylontech battery installation what is lithium battery how to connect solar max onex series pv 9000 6kw hybrid inverter with pylontech lithium battery.
So this is 6000 watt solar system in which we can run the electrical loads are two air conditioners refrigerator 5 to 6 fans lighting loads electric iron and water motor etc.

If the system can work without a battery then why a battery is installed? Can the ACs work on this battery ?
Battery is installed for backup mode in case of load shedding. Battery can be discharge with 4000 watts so we can run ac under power 4000 watt but ac is heavy load so it will drain your battery fast in less time so it will disturb your home light load (ups) load in case of long load shedding.so you can run it but this is not recommended .
