Put the water source block in the chest, waterlog it. If you cover them they can still be blown up, if you actually waterlog it they can't be blown up at all
U should use a village home as ur base i think it would be a good spot also if ur small in ur next video and can find under 1 block u should just make the door 1 block :) (just a idea)
Tip: For a future base, make it in a snowy area and use scaffolding for the entrance, then craft a snow layer and place it on top of it Despite it being covered, it's still usable with you being able to sneak on top of it to go down, making for a simple, effective, and hidden entrance.

What would be cool is that when you get the utilities and attack your appearance changes a bit like when you get claws your tiger model gets claws. It may be hard but it would be really cool. So if you just focused on the evolution the appearance would be normal then it could change the actual appearance even more with the other upgrades.
Maybe you already did this one, but perhaps Surviving 100 Days As An Enderman? If nothing else, there are a LOT of other mods that you could take influence from with the designs and abilities for the upgrades.
I honestly prefer snakes as my favorite animals, particularly king cobras, but tigers will always have a special place in my heart, espesually the eloquent golden tiger

I think my only issue with this mod was that tiger-you could eat non-meat foods. Tigers being obligate carnivores and all...and pork should provide much less hunger saturation than other meats (tigers can't digest fat; it makes them constipated). They're a type of wasp that hunts spiders, stings and paralyzes them, then buries the paralyzed spider with an egg laid on it. The larva will feed on the spider until it pupates and unearths itself as an adult. Creepy, but an arachnophobe's best friends~
