Great conversion. It was a pleasure to watch your video and see that you had the operation of this engine dialed in so well. Maybe the Chevy Orange helped as it did with Jr. Johnson. Thanks so much for the post.
Another well built silky smooth but chunky engine by Dr Tune!! Someone is gonna end up lovin this thing like I do the one ya built for me! You da man Gary!
Great color and awesome idle....someone out there will be getting a great engine take it from me I have purchased two engines from Gary you wont go wrong with his engines they are the best conversions out there........
That's a real nice job! Wonder what the thrust is, or would be with a 17" X 6" 3-blader. I have the Royal P-6E kit and bought an HP 120 , but if this would fit going gas would make more sense. I AM impressed!
No sir. That is definitely not a 28mm carb. Not at all. I'm holding a mikuni 25mm from my daughter's 125cc ATV right now. You're talking about a hole between a Susan B Anthony and a Half dollar sir, ain't no way. Its measured by the size of the butterfly, that looks to be a WT-16b, thats .62 or about 16mm. OEM for this engine varies but generally it's some infliction of the WT-458, which is also .62. Have one of those right beside the mikuni just replaced the primer bulb and did some porting on the body and intake, replaced the butterfly screw with a shaved aluminum screw, etc.. stuck it back with rtv. Reinstalling factory muff with no baffles while I fab up an expansion chamber. These are walbro 28mm carbs, on some calipers. th-cam.com/video/pn8SPbXKFGs/w-d-xo.html
Hi, I have a 30cc homelite that I am converting to RC. I am having a problem adjusting the carburator to make it start without a filter. How many turns out should I start with? I am at 5 turns out on the low? Please help. Thank you.
This brings joy to my heart, didn’t expect to find a video of such quality about the exact thing I want to do with my old homelite engine…

Man, I still love these videos so much. I'm addicted to hearing these big old engines run after being converted for RC plane use. Wish you did more
thanks my friend> all the best***** Gary

Cool.. looks so easy to start the engine. It's just one hose of fuel line from carburetor can do gas suction from fuel tank?

Amazing you did an amazing job 👏
Good job mate 👍
Have you tried this engine with any smaller props?
Nice work man ! Looks great !
You trimmed the Flywheel.....How do you do that? What size prop? Where'd you get the Prop adapter?
He has a lathe, makes his own hubs
Beautiful!
Sounds like 4 stroke. Does not it?
You use electronic ignition for the engine friend
