What a legendary final matchup. Both teams are not doing as well in 2019, but I am still supporters of both teams and hope to see something as good as this in the future.
This was the first game I ever watched, it changed my opinions completely on esports and since then I have been desperately chasing the dopamine high that this game gave me with tumultuous success. There have been some great series and finals since this moment but nothing comes close to the highs and the lows of this epic battle.

One wonderful thing to notice in the first Map or rather the entire match is that the whole analysis from the commentators was focused around how Guardian plays the Map , almost every second sentence you could see them speaking Guardian 😅✌️ shows the amount of impact Guardian had in that tournament!
Cloud9’s trigger discipline on the CT side in this game was horrible. Everytime they were on a flank that would take a stupid risky shot and give themselves away.

Honestly on this map guardian made some serious mistakes that simply lost them the rounds and didn't hit his first shots. You absolutely have to be proactive as an awper when your team lack utility. Because against this version of c9. You have to absolutely get the first shot off and actively get the man advantage. But things fell apart due to lack of utility and fucking dumb mistakes leaving them in a equal if not worst position where that mistake dropped two or three of faze clan team. Niko is the left in a unwinnable scenarios and karrigan trying to make hero plays because they fucked up. But look at the statsssss. The stats don't mean shit when he has the most expensive gun. guardian being challenged at every corner and barely above 1.0 kdr with an awp. Oh especially the time guardian was looking connector and gave himself with a man advantage but then again that round I'm pretty sure karrigan was botted at ct bin and doing fuck all. Also some of karrigan calls were just plain dry. Dry as the Sahara desert.
