ok so like when I press the lock button nothing shows up and when I check my in game keybinds im pretty sure the creator said they would be there but for me they arent.
Sounds like the resource isnt started on the server side. If you press f8, type resmon 1 And see if the resource is running, (it will be whatever you named the resource folder). If not you need to check your install / console for errors. Also be aware that you have to be on a recent fx server base. resmon 0 will close the momitor
Because the car is neither approaching or going away from you , the radar waves that are sent to the car are returning at the same speed they were sent there for there is no difference in speed so the radar reads zero. Whereas if a car is coming towards you or away the reflection will be either faster or slower than the speed of your Cruiser which is the speed its expecting back. In reality if you're doing 50 and the car in front of you is doing 60 the return signal is 10mph slower(in an away case) . However the radar knows that you are moving so it adds your speed to the speed that it returns to give you that cars speed. So in a situation where the car is not getting further away from you or closer to you, the speed that it is reading is 0. That is actually accurate because it is neither getting closer or going farther away from you. Which means it has no speed. That's why If you ever see a real radar car it's always in the direction of travel of the road because it needs to be in order to get a proper reading. That's why you see cops standing outside with a lidar gun or a radar gun so that they can get your speed, because their car is not in an adequate position to read it. This script recreates that pretty accurately.
@@wolfknight179 yea still cant get it to work from the forum post. my consoles stated it is working but when I go in game and attempt to launch it does not work. Yes I have tried the radar lock key which has not done anything.
So in the newer versions of the script this functionality has been removed. You can now remap the buttons to whatever you like, go pause, settings, keybinds, fivem. You will be able to remap them there. You have to be connected to the server with the script to do so.
If the mod is installed correctly and loaded, the default key is the F5 key at the top of your keyboard. You have to be in a car tagged as emergency. Even if it's a addon car. If your not sure try one of the default cop cars. There is a keylock button as well. Default was L. The script was updated to add manual keybindings, Check the keybinds in the pause menu. Pause > settings > keybinds > fivem. If they are not there either the script is not updated, or not running correctly. This script is for fivem only and doesn't work in single player / lspdfr
Realistically, Yes you could measure from both at the same time. However, your unit only has one processor and one readout, so the unit can only monitor one input per set. As this isn't something the radar unit this emulates does, the script does not do it either.

Thats a sever side setting in the config file, you would have to talk to your server owner/dev to turn that on.
The K button to get the small keyboard didn’t work for me. Any help?
The script has been updated, however, you can check key bindings now in the Keybinds > Fivem .

I am in a different sever but we use the same radar and mine is wrong it says people are going 50 when they are going 30. how do I fix it
