I don’t think you get enough credit for this channel at all. To film such long clips without people wrecking the shot (lol the guy with the tray) and also record audio that captures the sounds without people being loud/ kids screaming is a skill

I...just...french style is a cut above and Air France tops the list (in my humble opinion). How do you make a lounge look like a four-star restaurant and spa, with a plane cabin that has the feeling of a luxury streamlined of the 20s' with a modern edge? With a quiet simplicity, undeniable style, attention to detail, and coupled with quietly confident customer service. While I am grateful for you taking all of us along for the ride, every now and then I am so very envious.

Took Air France from Paris to Bordeaux, somewhere during the transition from International to Domestic my suitcase got left behind. I wasn't the only one missing their suitcase a female soccer (football) team was missing their gear & suitcases. So Air France provided a clothing voucher allowance & overnight emergency kit (including toiletries & a t-shirt). The next day my suitcase (was found) & was driven from Bordeaux all the way to Beynac-et-Cazenac where I was staying (some 2 hours away). Thank you for the service Air France.❤

This was an excellent review. I really loved the clean modern lines of the cabin. Nothing too showy, just two tone simplicity which I liked very much. I was also impressed by the lounge which appeared well laid out, spacious and surprisingly quiet. For some reason, I have never flown with Air France, but hopefully I will have the opportunity to remedy this is the near future. Looking forward to your next video as always.

I love your videos, thanks for showing the new AF business class. Your choice of music is SO good, it makes the experience magical. And thank you for making the effort to blur people's faces. One thing about the lounge that I would like to add is that there is a free Clarins spa where you can do a 20-30 mins facial. You can only book at the desk and you can't book more than 3hrs in advance. And omg the ending with the safari & beach preview were ... well i have no words :O

The ever challenge for AF is of course, the soft product (including catering), is usually 10x better than the hard product. While the cabin appeared a little tired and worn, the food was, well, very French.
Really looking forward to next week.
You continue to set the bar higher and higher and other luxury reviewers in the dust.
Well done, and again, RIP to the famous red suitcase !

Marvelous and Wonderful ❤as always. I had an opportunity to travel in Air France in the early 80s when I was a kid. Then they had a fleet of Boeing 747s. What time that was. We flew from Delhi to Paris and then to Kano, Nigeria.❤

Really love the lounge, they provide various seats to dine, and to work. What surprised me they put food at the lounge end near window. That is normally for view to watch airplanes.
I think that is the 2nd time expert to film the whole safety video, after Hawaiian Airline. Graphics are beautiful.
The amenity kit looks elegant. It is different to some airlines amenity kit looks like that can pick up from clothing shops.
Food and the hardware meet expectations, looks really good.
Once again thank you expert! Look forward for next Saturday :)

I’ve flown a few time on Air France. I’ve found the experience to be very good. Longest flights were from SIN/CDG/YYZ and CPT/CDG/YYZ. I have flown on there 777-300, 777-200 and their 787. I am going to be flying with them next year and hopefully will get to fly on their A350. I’m really looking forward to flying on the 350. I was supposed to fly on the 350 last year but they change the aircraft on the flight to the 777-200, which are among the oldest aircraft in their fleet.

Thanks for your review, as always it's so professional and a pleasure to watch. I would love to fly AF one day. One issue I have is that, because you don't provide a commentary, I find at times that I can't tell if what I'm seeing is good or bad. For example, the dinner on the flight looked positively awful!! What was that muck as a starter, and why did you get something in a box that looked like stale crackers? The main dish looked quite small and mean with a tiny piece of cod and something else that, again, looked really disappointing. How are we able to find out more about the quality and what your thoughts were?

We flew AF biz last year and whilst it unfortunately was the old seats (which we knew when upgrading) the food and service was excellent. Those crackers were actually delicious as were the little amuse bouche and starters. We had beef fillet and were so full we couldn’t manage dessert. My husband was still too full (about 6 hours later) for breakfast in the morning which I also thought was great. FYI we have good appetites and picky on food quality. If I had one complaint it was that my beef was completely cooked through but am not sure rare cooking was an option. Dinner service took 2 hours and it was pretty much 2 hrs of good food and wine. Unlike some carriers it wasn’t all served on one tray so the experience was lovely.
We were unable to upgrade on return leg and the food in premium economy was poor.

I dont know if its just me, but I would rather be against the window with my seat angled inwards towards the cabin rather than against the aisle with my seat angled towards the window. Theres a much larger sense of privacy when you are against the window rather than against the aisle.

    • @swvwest
      @swvwest ปีที่แล้ว +1

The term would be Herringbone seating, which has the seats facing toward the window, like shown in the video. The other is called Reverse Herringbone seating, which is when the seat faces the aisle. That was first introduced on US Airways. The last design is staggered seating. In staggered seating the seat faces forward with seating closer to the window or aisle, the reason it’s staggered is to have room for the footwell. The staggered can be called “throne” style too. Delta One Suites in the Airbus A350 would be an example of the staggered style seating.

Yes finally we in Africa, not to sound mean....but the europeans hotels and resorts...I get bored with them. But when you travel to Africa and certains South America countries I really enjoy.
The lounge... ion, is not bad, the food selection not bad compared with other Europeans /America lounges.
The triple 7 is such a beau plane(I was waiting for you to film even the economy like you used to do).
    The business class is cute.
