    We bought a Benimar 463 in 2019 and absolutely love it, can't wait to get out in it again. The table is the same as ours but i moved it about 3 inch and it's a lot better , I also took the small cushion out above the heater switch as I thought it wasn't really doing much. Regarding the radio ours it's very much the same but I think it's down to the ariel as it's not a proper digital one so i might change that later. Overall it's a great motorhome and apart from the odd thing requiring an adjustment we haven't had any issues with it.

    Brilliant review can't but help come back to it, it certainly points out plenty of issues to consider and be aware of for motor homers and prospective motor homers.

    Hi we are contemplating changing our caravan to a motorhome and after watching your honest review of the benimar wanted to ask you if you feel you made the right choice to change from your van to the notorhome or if you feel you would have been better with your van? We are a family of 4 too 2 adults and 2 young teens. Thank you

      Hello we are really happy we change to a Motorhome. It does give you so much more freedom and opens up more opportunities for short stay including pub stops and overnight while camping which you can’t do with a caravan.
      We also find because we’ve not got the car we have to use public transport and we are able to have meals out with a drink and not have to worry about driving. Our girls have now grown up and no longer come with us so we’ve changed the Motorhome to one more suited to us , as a couple we also travel to Europe a lot more now and the Motorhome is much more suited and so many places to stay where you cannot with a caravan often these are free in Europe. We also like when we arrive at our destination in winter, the Motorhome is already warm unlike the caravan when everything felt cold and damp.

    We bought a Tessoro 486 new in 2018. We've done just over 10k miles without any issues whatsoever. We have toured extensively in 2018 and 2019 and the only very minor issue was the toilet roll holder came off. We are currently living in the motorhome and have no issues whatsoever with the motorhome. I would definitely recommend the make and also our experience with Marquis has been very positive.

    How do you find the rattling when driving, I have a 2019 413 and above the drivers area is a terrible knocking noise, creaking from the drivers window curtain frame and the habitation windows on the drivers side creak - any ideas or experience?

    Great video, I am thinking of buying a benimar van and have been watching many videos of them but this review is by far the best , this will be my first motorhome so I am nervous about spending such a lot of money the advice of getting a bit of finance is gold thank you, funny enough I was also looking at the auto trail vans so am glad for your advice, overall would you recommend benimar for build quality? Many thanks

    Some great tips, I get the view the supplier is more important than the Motorhome especially because of warranty issues.

    Leaving bathroom door open, oven and microwave ajar helps them ventilate, can actually virtually dry yourself with a flannel by keep wringing it out rather than a towel, a long handled back scrub brush can come in handy.

    Looks like a nice van, with some clever design features, and overall it looks like a great package. Hopefully you'll be able to enjoy holidays and the experience of travelling with the Benimar without worrying about what's going to go wrong next...

    I agree, we were lucky we bought, our first MH Bessecarr E444 from South Yorkshire caravans in 2014 (just changing to Marquis at the time) MH was OK for us at the time but after time layout was not right for us to take granddaughters with us, went to Lowdhams at Huddersfield in Nov 2017 fell in love with Chausson 757 with rear bathroom, twin single bed & drop down bed over lounge, we loved the MH, order a brand new model for delivery April 2018, that's when things went down & the dealer is another issue, in April we part exchanged & payed. the final balance in cash (had enough money from inheritance) found out a year later we had been conned and lied to regarding the sale of our MH, everything they have done to my MH has been totally unprofessional, I certainly would not call there so called technicians tradesman more like trained monkeys, It's a long story but I'm still battling to get thing sorted as per our final settlement agreement I signed for in 2019

    Great review. I am looking to buy a 482 and this is super helpful. I am slightly concerned that the rear seatbelt seat looks uncomfortable (shallow and very upright) for long journeys. Have you made any modifications or left it as is?

    • @familyadventures9723
      @familyadventures9723  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Rear seats are very upright But with cushions they are very comfortable. We travelled to the South of France last year with no complaints from my 17 and 13 year old daughters.

      They are a few extras with the Benimar motorhome that the sales team doesn't tell you about like it has a Battery to battery charging unit when driving but only 4amp.

    Hi I had a auto trail FB was a good motorhome had a lot of extras on it but there where a few problems with French bed which was not easy getting in or out with two people on it and a small area for toilet and shower room due to small space also low head room in cab.now have a much better motorhome with loads of space...

  • @marklittler784

    Yeah all the shallow storage space isn't very inviting, specifically like the lifting arm for convenient storage helps keep the place tidy and uncluttered.

  • @marklittler784
    @marklittler784 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Who'd of thought you needed to test the stereo in this day and age, the drivers dash board storage hatch might be a good safe position for a pop up sat nav.
