Good tut Jaycee. I particularly appreciate the tip on punching the hole and adhering the foil to the inside. Clever you! Also really like that you showed the difference between the ones you finished the edges off on and those you didn't. Great visual. Enjoyed this very much, thank you!
U r so funny and refreshing! I’m a long time crafter. Have been doing clay but I need some new ideas! Thank u so much for sharing. Love your enthusiasm and your work! I’d love to see how u did the crackle looking earring! Can’t wait for your next video!
I just love how you use double stick tapes for this project. I have bought some and can't wait to try this out. Thank you so much for your great tutorial! ❤
Hello from Adelaide Australia, I would like to thank you sincerely for sharing this information! I have been struggling with sticky adhesives that don't set or cure properly leaving me unhappy with the results. This is a GAME CHANGER!! Just to let you know you can buy double sided adhesive sheets in both A4 and A5 (found these searching for double sided tape online) meaning you will not have to place down two strips of tape. Love this generous world-wide community.
I have tried so many repositionable glues to get this to work, and why I didn't think about double-sided tape is beyond me! Thank you for this tutorial! I'm going to buy tape today because I have to conquer it! 😅
I definitely want to try this technique. I’ve had the hardest time using nail foils for making earrings. The wider tape is already unavailable though so I’ll have to search for something similar. Thanks so much for the idea! ❤
So glad I joined, love what you do. I thought I might even rub on some mica powder to some of these before resin topping. 😀Also I love listening to jazz too while I work!
This is so cool. I brought my nail foils upstairs to try with the resin. Now I'm trying to find them to try this. Think I can find them? NO! Figures right?
Thank you JayCee for your great video!! I learned lots!! I have an issue with the double sided tape completely pulling off the wood when I add the nail foils on top of the of the tape 🥴. Any ideas?? Thank you ❤️
hmmm maybe don't press the foil on so much... also when you peel it off don't pull 'up' peel it back flat to the surface as you pull I hope that makes sense
Thank you for showing this technique. I love it works really well Just having trouble with protective my foil I've used mod podge diamond glaze Help please. Make a video to show what you do

Do you think adding a little ball of poster putty under the blank would help hold the blank to your working surface?
absolutely...
Love your videos, just subscribed ❤
Thank you so much happy you are here
adorable....
This is so cool. I brought my nail foils upstairs to try with the resin. Now I'm trying to find them to try this. Think I can find them? NO! Figures right?
Definetly using the putty to keep blanks in place
:-)
Hi, did you ever make the video to cover how to finish these up? If so, which one is it please?
I thought it was inside another one but I will double check... it the same as my other resin videos though
Maybe i will try using the uv top coat nail polish to seal.
Did nail polish work?
Thank you JayCee for your great video!! I learned lots!! I have an issue with the double sided tape completely pulling off the wood when I add the nail foils on top of the of the tape 🥴. Any ideas?? Thank you ❤️

Can you paint the wood before putting on the nail foil?
I dont see why not ... but i'd test it before you make a piece you wan to sell...i haven't tried it but let me know how it goes. if you do
❤❤❤❤
where did you get your tape?
sorry i just updated the links in the video description.
Can U use anything els than resin I don't like resin very expensive and very messy
you can use any finish/varnish (diamond glaze, dura clear varnish, modpodge)
Some of your creations would look great with a white edge, maybe using white ink and a small powdered make up stick sponge!
Thank you
Have you tried using tacky glue?
Ive tried all sorts of things... I really love the double sided tape. which method do you use?
