@@emeraldnoir7099 the hacking process includes downgrading your firmware version, so you should be safe. After the downgrade, the CFW will also spoof your Vita's firmware version, making it seem that it's updated to the latest version, so that your Vita doesn't prompt for a system update.
@@emeraldnoir7099 If you haven't done it already you shouldn't worry, on the newest update it's even easier since you don't need a pc

Thanks for the vid! DK64 actually has a rom hack that allows you to tag anywhere, so you don't need to go back the barrel to swap kongs, you can just swap anywhere. I believe it is actually called swap anywhere
How do you even get DK64 to run? Everytime I try to play it, it freezes then crashes the whole app
@daraht8730 barely lol I was able to complete the first level, but It kept crashing on the second level. I transferred my save over to the retroid pocket 4 now lol

my psvita gives me this error when installing and opening retroflow an error occurred: [string "?"]:3870 SFO file is corrupted, does anyone know how to fix it?
Hey I can’t get vita db downloaded to work. Goes straight to downloading sharkfood, and every time I open sharkfood it just boots me out. Do you have any ideas?
You may need to install libshacccg.suprx file manually.

which one is better? is it the slim or fat model of the ps vita. i have the slim model and it works great but im curious on how the fat is compared to the slim.
I don't think there is a difference as far as performance goes for this app.
the fat one have the advantage of hall effect sticks and (early) oled display, slim got ips display, cheaper sticks(but easily replaceable and cheaper to replace), and slightly better battery life. Performance is pretty much the same.

Yeah actually. If you are thinking of modding one then you really should.

If this would be as default, ok. But when you boot, you need to open the app to get here, is useless and making it slow.
dont see the point of this when retroarch already does it. Plus for the vita games, it is an extra step opening this app to play a game whenyou can select the game from the livearea.

livearea kinda have only 100 bubble limit and anything after are just blank white icons(and sometimes your custom themes stops loading when there's to much bubbles), they still works but just don't look nice. If anyone can reprogram vita to go beyond that limitation I'll stick to livearea too.
You can set it up to automatically boot into Retroflow on startup which takes away that extra step - can’t remember what to do as it’s been awhile since I did it but should be an easy Google search
@@DarkHorseIOM what about when you close a game after playing? Do you need to launch the app all over again?
I don't use retroarch and I always used stand alone emulators. So this works for me.
