Around 11:30, I duplicate a cable by using Ctrl+Click/Drag the Collapse Clock input. This video was recorded with VCV Rack v2.4.1. Starting from v2.5.0, the shortcut combination for this has instead changed to Ctrl+Shift+Click/Drag instead.
Thank you! I found those modules a while back while looking for a switch that could do a little something extra, and they turned out to be perfectly suited for what was needed here 😁
@@not-things hey there! just wanted to drop a note to say this was a really nice patch, and i was excited to see some of the NullPath modules i developed in collaboration with another dev show up! so glad there's at least someone out there getting some use out of them since i haven't had the mental bandwidth to work on them for quite a while and some of them have some big issues. but again, i'm super happy to see them in the wild!
@alefnull I really like the unique way that the Entangle, Collapse and Expand bring different randomization/variation options into the switching process, and it also helps that they have a cool look to them 😊 So thank you for the modules!
Just a correction, Ionian is the root mode of the Major scale, is the first mode. Minor modes are, Dorian 2nd mode, Phrigian 3rd mode and Aeolian 6th mode. Ionian is not a minor mode.
That's correct, and I think it matches what I said in the video? It was set to Ionian, which is a major scale, and then I moved it to Aeolian, which is a minor scale, and then moved it back to Ionian, since I wanted the C major scale.

One of the most beautiful patches I ever heard in VCV Rack, thank you for sharing so many great ideas. Subscribed.
Thank you, much appreciated.

BEEN WAITING FOR ANOTHER AMAZING TUTORIAL FROM YOU... ABOUT DAMN TIME 😜!1111111
Happy to finally have another tutorial ready. They require time and inspiration, and both had been lacking a bit recently.
That was very inspirational. Lovely sounds and I'd never got round to playing with the Entangle and Collapse - which you got me trying now!

Nice tuto about Nullpath!
Thanks! It's a nice set of modules with some interesting possibilities.
