    Wow, Mike. You rock. I've been at this for better than 10 years and I've never heard this topic addressed so eloquently. Thanks!

    For those of you who still question the authority of this man: I saw a Mike Cohn video on user stories once in which he mentioned buying an app that makes fart sounds, proving once and for all he's the real deal. Thanks for the awesomeness Mike!

    Mike, words would prove too feeble to describe the awesomeness of your teaching. You would not know how much I appreciated watching this video. Keep on and Good Luck!

    Engaging and informative lecture. I'm studying for the ACP exam, and this hour was well spent bringing the material together and injecting some common sense and best practices into the conversation. I'm eating up your blog posts, too. Many thanks!

    very nice, but in my opinion the delays between the question and answering should be erased for a youtube format, but thanks a lot to get that inside from a coryphae like you, Mike! ;-)

    HI Mike,
    That was quite a good video. I have few questions here
    1) How are Hours and Story points mapped.
    2) How can we make people working on traditional waterfall model where a Manger provides the estimates move to Agile planning.
    3) I have been practising Agile for 3 yrs but estimation is the area where I fall short to explain.
    It would be of great help if you could give me some insight on how to map hours to story points.
    Thanks in Advance.

    Mike, presentation is awesome! Have a questions. A team been working for so long using Scrum. Say we use Story points for Stories and hours for Tasks. If i go to the team and take all the 3 story point stories and total all Task hours do it be same or falls in a range ? I personally feel it should fall in a range, as team seeing the size of the work for Story then all the stories of 3 points mostly comes in some range. Your view pls?

    Hello Mike, great video.
    I had one doubt regarding the estimates. When we do the planning poker everyone(Dev,QA,Design,DB) in the team is present. How can the estimate of a Dev be similar to that of a QA? Their tasks are different. So while estimating if we are assuming other person's effort we might be wrong. How can we mitigate this? Any suggestions?

    Great information Mike, I like your ability to get everyone on the same page by using examples. The Bush joke was good! Do you have the slides somewhere online that is available for further reading/studying purposes?

    Umm.. what about dependencies?

    • @MountainGoatSoftware
      @MountainGoatSoftware  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Dependencies are a factor in planning. An estimate of the effort to do a thing is not generally increased by it being dependent upon something else.
