Graham is polished, personable, genuine, HILARIOUS and a gentleman. There is a reason his show has been on a long time and why he has the guests that he does. Everyone has a good time, they don't get interrupted, no negativity or put downs.

I see many have commented on the interrupting manner of Rachael. In her defense, she is simply doing what she has learned from other hosts. Jimmy Fallon is notorious for it. They seem to think they have a mandate to direct the flow of conversation. It is the mark of a good interviewer to allow the guest time to answer. Dick Cavett and Norton know this and lay back after a question has been posed. They allow the storyteller room to embellish.
I like it when they have Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman n Sir Ian McKellen...or Ricky Gervais. Oh yea and Jamie Fox explaining his song lyrics to Graham. Soo Funny! Or David Attenborough flirting with the ladies on the couch. Those my personal favs

That Ed Sheeran and his childhood friend James thing was so cool. I suspect he didn't recognize him because a) he wasn't wearing his glasses and b) James was all grown up, with a beard and glasses. Fun to watch Ed's recognition, and the way they sat next to each other was so comfortable looking, you knew they'd sat that way a million times before.

Miriam Margolis she is mad, rude, crude to know and don't give a damn about her life stories. Well what can you say, Graham Norton always says, I can't stop her she's going to say it anyway, because they are hilarious. She is number one. Always any good comedian sitting on the end maybe Jimmy Carr for the edgy stuff or maybe Jack Whitehall something topical, but my favourite would be Sean Lock can talk on any subject and make it uneasy viewing and very funny. Maybe Mark Wahlberg has always a good tale to tell or Greg Davis mainly he's tails about him being a teacher.
I have been in a recording of his show. They do not have hype men in the studio to whip up the audience like American shows. When I saw the episode on the TV; they about 30 minutes of the show (kind of sad as they had several audience members were dancing for Kylie Minogue, who was a guest) and most of the laughter you here are canned. The guess British audience are more reserved.

I watched the full episodes of these clips in Graham Norton's Show, AMAZING SHOW, BTW! These were hilarious and looking at these here at Rachael Ray's show was blah. I mean she really knows how to take the fun out of it. She's so BLAH! Poor Graham, he had to make an extra effort.
He know people are there for the celebrities and the unique interaction between them, he leads like a ring master and let's it breaths when he is getting the results he wants. It's gotten to the point (years ago now) were people come to see him too now because he is delightful, intelligent and hilarious in his own right (without being a try hard).
My favorite is Chris Martin, Rosamund Pike and Michael Mcintyre discussing the word overwhelmed. Graham has always been my fave interviewer and I'll add sean evans on my list because i've been obsessed with the hot ones lately.
