    I am glad to see you reviewing more affordable e-bikes. Not everyone can afford to spend a few thousand on a first bike.

    That is a nice bike for the money and I was surprised that the motor was relatively quiet for a mid drive. Great review!

    Pls start always with the core specs as motor power and battery size!! Or write it in the video description,because this is my very first judgement if I keep watching an e bike video 😉

    Flat but rounded surface for tires, with that thickness must make for the best eBike Street Cruise. A Suspension seat would definitely be icing on the cake👍

    No motor inhibitor with braking? So what happens when you brake? Sounds dangerous.

    The pricing is keen, same as Walmart are asking for the Schwinn Constance with the Bafang Max 250 mid-drive. Good to see more budget prebuilt ebikes now available with a torque sensor. The frame design looks similar to the Velec R48, but the 24" wheels lower the stand over height compared with the 26" wheels on the Velec. The Tongsheng website lists this mid-drive motor model # as TSDZ3H Source: tsbicycle.net/index.php/content/120, Tongsheng are known in the DIY ebike community for their TSDZ2 kit mid-drive motor, a popular alternative to Bafang BBS motors for riders who want a torque sensor and a double front chainring, so while the casing on this motor is different it would be interesting if someone could find out and post here if it uses the same KT controller and wiring harness connector - if they are the same there is open source firmware available to custom program the TSDZ2 controller as described in this article on the TSDZ2 www.electricbike.com/tsdz2-750w-mid-drive-torque-sensing/.

    I like u reviewed it. I do find it quite ugly lol but its interesting that some independant makers are adding to the mix and making middrives and torque affordable for those to whom its important. As an aside, does AMERICA NOT MAKE ANYTHING?????????

  • @spectrum868
    @spectrum868 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Rad power bikes are a much better option for the same price. You get a more powerful motor, 48V 14Ah Lithium-Ion Battery 672Wh almost double capacity, front suspension fork, upgraded Shimano Acera drivetrain, regenerative braking and most important the Buzz lacks inhibitors that cut power to the motor when braking. Spend your money wisely.

    • @retiredandroaming
      @retiredandroaming 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      But not a mid drive with that very nice torque sensing assist - the main feature of this bike! Pretty sure this bike will run away from a RAD up a hill due to the torque multiplication of the gears too.

    Looks more like a scooter.
    No rear rack and it looks so strange.
    As you break something on that bike, than you have a problem. Cheap to buy, but expensive to maintain. There are more cheap e bikes that use standard parts that you can get in any bike shop.
    That you wear a helmet because you still believe that it's save OK. But that helmet is just terrible.
