"What do we do with a rotting sailor? What do we do with a rotting sailor? What do we do with a rotting sailor? Early in the morning!" Unknown drowned men blight king
"Throw em in a Naw-hole with a Skaven Breeder, Throw em in a Naw-hole with a Skaven Breeder, Throw em in a Naw-hole with a Skaven Breeder, Early in da mornin"
I remember a short story, it might have been a malign portents story since it was set as the necroquake hit. It talked about how this Idoneth enclave had a patrol of Eel riders whose job was to remove seamonster carcasses that were sinking towards the city, and that it was a regular thing. In the story you told I imagine It didn't raise any alarms (or maybe not enough alarm) when the maggot(kin) filled leviathan body was coming
I’m mean, followers of nurgle are basically biologically dead aren’t they. I can’t imagine they would have to breath. Even if they do, they could just have “gifts” from nurgle that let breath underwater.
I feel like the Idoneth fear tactic couldn't work on the Maggotkin because of their "bravery statistic" being massively prideful and faithful to Nurgle and rarely running in-game. But that's just my two cents
Doug, what is a good black library novel with Gutrot? Just got into Nurgle after the last release and only remember them in one of the Realm Wars where that SCE dude blew himself up to destroy the gate.
My first thought when reading the title was of Nurgle singing Ocean Man. What a sight to behold that would be.

You're a gentleman and a scholar 2+Tough... also man-thing

Spume is one of my favorite characters- towering arrogance is just so perfect.
Nurgle doin sea shanty why not
once the IDK are dead, wouldnt the "air" go back to normal water and all the nurgle followers drown?
No it sounds like they’re ok underwater

This has some interesting implications for future plots between these two. Here's hoping gw capitalizes on it and doesn't just forget
You should really read "the court of the blind king" if you like Idoneth and Nurgle stuff.
Thanks
Welcome :)
I love Butrot Prefume
I love Gutrot so much! He's one of the coolest Nurgle units out there! A Nurgle pirate!
I’m more concerned about why gutrot is in hysh, what is he doing? Is there LRL trying to stop him?
Was your custom Nurgle pirate army based off The Droned Men?
Nope, it was just a convenient narrative similarity :)
Drowned Men in AOS Ferrymen in 40k naval Nurgle fans rejoice!! I hope these themes somehow seep in aos video games.

Makes me wonder how the Nurgle forces got back up to land afterwards?
Is it weird that the we that don’t have a sub faction in Hyish?
Hey 2+ do you think you can do a lore video on the blightwar
I'm rooting for nurgle here. nurgle legitimately seems like a less evil faction than the idoneth shitkin.
Love that!
Quite a fishy story
Great video! Although it is pronounced “Spewm” not “Spoom”
a 15 second intro huh
