I love Syndicate and Jacob is one of my favourite protagonists! I just wish that the game didn't feature that snob evie. She is so boring and annoying in equal measure that I struggle to play through the story sometimes. Plus her fans and some of her supporters at ubisoft clearly wany to remove Jacob from his own game. It's so toxic. It is a really tricky time to love Syndicate. The ripper dlc in particular often makes me want to move past this game, but I love the main game so much. It's a very annoying situation. Anyway, sorry for the long rant. It's just the community is really toxic to fans of Jacob these days. Nice video and I hope to see more!
Truthfully, Syndicate is my favourite Assassin's Creed, and Jacob happens to be my favourite protagonist (surprising, I know XD). Also, I agree with you on Evie being nothing more than boring and unnecessary addition.

As a Jacob fan and someone who genuinely dislikes young Ezio (I know, this is one unpopular take), I've been bullied and laughed at fairly frequently. Come to think of it, my previous comment propably pictures me as someone who's no better than Jacob haters.

It ruins things to pander to evie. As does the company and the community. Moreover, evie wasn't even planned for the game originally. The development leaked online, proving some devs at ubisoft lied about development ideas in order to push evie, and the leaked development proved that only Jacob was intended to be there to begin with. The game factually suffered to pander to a crowd that dislike men. It's sexism no matter which way round it goes. This isn't like with Odyssey where Kassandra actually was pitched to the team early on. Evie is just an additional character who got to big for their own boots and began to ruin the story and game. She isn't even canon in the levels where you can choose who to play as. And yet, Jacob and his fans are always criticised and bullied both by the community and Ubisoft. The ripper dlc for example, should have 1 third and free roam for Jacob, as that is the amount of content evie got in Jacob's story in the main game. But ubisoft break their rules for evie and enforce rules to hold Jacob back. It isn't OK really. I suggest you relax and take an honest look at this franchise and it's community. It isn't Jacob fans who are bullying evie fans. It's evie fans who are bullying people and getting what they please, even if it means disappointing Jacob fans. Another example would be when you couldn't unlock Jacob as an ally in Odyssey, but you could get evie. Considering bayek and aya were also there, it isn't OK that they didn't add Jacob. That sort of attitude is why Jacob fans (the majority of Syndicate fans) are getting tired of evie now.
