"And there go my memories" Legitimately made me tear up.... The fact that Moon doesn't see how much others care for him and the total flatness of his voice like he knew this was going to happen.... He doesn't care, and sees someone like KillCode who hurt him over and over as a better person than he is. He was willing to change even if it cost him his life... You can tell in his voice that he's afraid to, but has already accepted the fact that he is (probably) going to die. We can only hope that he pulls through, or that if he doesn't he can be rebuilt and keep his memories.
It actually makes sense why Moon would make this decision, considering the fact that (in his mindscape) he just re-visited hundreds of memories about him hurting Sun and hurting people around him. With all the guilt fresh in his mind, it’s probably easier for him to choose to destroy himself rather than make the same mistakes he’s regretted before
That ending speech got me so sad, the slight implication of a creator-Eclipse villain duo, and the fact that Moon is just so accepting of his death and not willing to kill another person. Im just imagining Sun's reaction to it all, him listening to the recording, him learning Moon is dead, etc. The EMOTION in everyone's voice was heartbreaking and I know for a fact this episode is going to haunt me until the next one.

Moon does seem really agitated at the begging, and the message was so sweet :( Sun is going through a lot (Bloodmoon stuff and feeling responsible for all this) , and now he might lose his brother. Lunar as well, he nearly got blown up, now he might lose Moony. Earth didn't even get to meet him. Ima go cry now
I’ve never physically cried during any TV Show, TH-cam Series, Movie, not once. This episode is the closest I’ve ever been to actually crying. Holy heck.
I saw a community post about this video before I could actually WATCH the video so I was crying from the beginning. I'm still crying and it's been about 5 minutes since I finished the video.
Oh god. I have never once in my life cried over a show. Hell, a single episode. But here we are. I didn’t believe it at first since he’s such a lived character (and my favorite not to mention). He’s a comfort character to many. You’ll be missed, Moony. We love you.

I mean if you look online, what the song is meant to represent, it’s really meaningful and extremely beautiful The concept is that Mickey came up with the idea and this song represents him and the other character having pieces of each other’s heart with them
When we needed something good to happen the Sun and moon show drops a bombshell on us. Everything within Lunar and eclipse, Sun and Earth and now this? something good needs to happen We don’t know how Sun may react to this

I actually almost cried. I really hope Moon can be restored.. Moon was one of my favorites following Nice Eclipse, Lunar, and reformed KC.. he was my favorite since before they existed. This hurt. It hurt a lot. I am basically praying at this point that Moon can be restored. I don't want him gone. I know it ensured his survivability, but.. it won't be the same now.. Small edit now that i have calmed down a bit: I have high respect for Moon's decision here. He sacrificed himself so KC could leave. Whether he gets reset or not, i am not leaving. I am staying here for this. I've stuck with them since i found them, i stuck around for the Eclipse and Lunar arc, i'm sticking around for this too. I love this show too much even with all the ups and downs it's had over the course of its' existence. Loyal to the end.

Sun & Moon, you are the best thing that ever happened to me in my life. I'm so sad that Moon was reseted and (probably) haves no memories anymore, but I see how Moon really cares for others and why he did this. I hope that Sun can understand and can keep Moon's promises and help him. 🙏 Even if one dies, sacrifice or me being sad all day, I will never leave this show. This show have made me feel alive when I first found this. ❤ I will miss the Moon that we all know and love, I hope he gets repaired even if he doesn't have memories. Let's be positive, if one doesn't have memories, it's good to make new ones.

I’m not crying, you’re crying Edit: Just had a thought. Sun has a whole archive or recordings to show Moon how he used to be. KC likely still has his memories, if they sit and talk KC can tell him all he’s missing. Sure Moon won’t be the Moon we all know and love, but it’s something that can be learned and taught. Moon will be ok, it’ll be more like amnesia then anything. I hope.

I watched from beginning to end, I'm crying, I'm so sorry for you, Moon, KC and Sun. It's hard for me to describe how I feel after this video, but we will miss you and always remember you as you were before Moon. I hope that these two percent will save you

Knowing that KC has changed, he let him live at the cost of himself… Sun, Moon and Lunar deserved better, really. And I know Sun will not take this news lightly. I’m not crying, your crying! 😭 But seriously, Moon is an amazing character and brother, and to watch him grow further as time goes on has been an incredible experience for everyone. Watching this fully, I felt tears almost falling from my face, this is so sad. Poor moon. He did his best and decided to let kill code live especially since he doesn’t want to kill anyone. Let’s just hope that when his other self wakes up, eclipse won’t take advantage to this if he finds out.

OKAY, I don't think Moons dead dead but he's "dead", if that makes sense but it could be like a situation where he's not around on the show, maybe like what happened with Lunar and Eclipse. I just hope Moon comes back

I'm genuinely hurt , Moon's come so far and changed for the better so much ,he's come over such hard tasks and things with and without his brother ,sun and moon have dealt with so many difficult situations and problems but this is truly going to break them , especially sun ,I don't think suns going to be able to cope with it ,he's gonna blame himself so much since he accidentally broke the magic ,I feel so sorry for them ,scared for the next lore vid😢
This was so heart breaking to find out that moon would sacrifice himself to make killcode live and be happy. At the end of this episode I started to cry and feel so emotional and I started thinking about sun because he hasn't seen his brother in such a long time. This episode was so sad to watch. Oh also it kinda hurt when moon said “I never though I would die this way” 😭
My skin is not cleanse, and my hotel is not trivago. Right as seeing the title i immediately teared up. They did not deserve this suffering, and i have a feeling we are all hoping that moon does recover, and that sun gets the help he needs. With out the night, there can be no stars, without the day, there can be no sky. Without both, there is no balance. I hope that there is a plot teistthat will turn things better. As for now, we wait.

Really hoping for that 2% chance… It can’t end like this… No. Moon doesn’t get to do this. He doesn’t get to just forget everything. He still has a lot to atone for. Sun will no doubt feel guilty and heartbroken over this, and he does NOT deserve that guilt. Moon does not deserve to get off scott free by forgetting his past actions and how they affected Sun. That message. As touching as it was, it’s once again another situation where information is just thrusted onto Sun. He will have no time to process this. KC being better? Sun will find that hard to believe, especially if he is going to be emotional. "Just be my brother. That's all I ever needed..." AND ISN'T THAT WHAT SUN HAS ALWAYS WANTED FROM YOU??? HELLO??????? This will break Sun further, if Moon doesn’t come back. Sun will no doubt feel responsible for this. But. Golden Freddy said Sun had a great destiny ahead of him. Hopefully, this is it. This is how he saves Moon.
Agree a lot here. Sun keeps getting shafted. Poor guy has had several breakdowns and is barely getting any help, and the help he is getting is from a complete stranger Moon is so selfish here. Sun is constantly losing everything and Moon never truly considered how this will affect him
@@LiahariEren I wouldn't say he was selfish. Whether he spared KC or killed him, his code would still have been messed up afterwards. The only way he could have made it out unscathed was with magic... but that isn't an option he had anymore. At least he had the decency to give Sun a final message in case that 2% was all for not. And he chose to save KC and give him another chance. I'm just hoping we get lucky with that 2%...

Yes, I know he doesn't want to let KC die, but it's still selfish. And to expect that Sun is going to be ok having a reset Moon should the 2% not happen? Moon would be dead and gone and that wouldn't be his brother anymore and he'd be once again left to deal with the fallout. I really hope the 2% happens or at most it's just an amnesia arc that gets fixed- though I dislike amnesia arcs bc they're usually just cheap ways to insert angst and conflict, I would greatly prefer the chance for Moon to actually redeem himself and become a better brother to Sun and not just give Sun a new person to deal with that looks and sounds like his dead brother

I know this is 6 months ago and Moon is alive and is basically a better person, but this video still has me an ugly sobbing mess curled up in the corner. Moon is one of my favorite characters, and rewatching his death will always shatter me. This episode will forever be the saddest video I've ever watched, along with being the most sad on the show. I know for a fact there is an alternative universe where we actually got that 2%, and Moon didn't get reset. I can imagine Moon immediately running up to hug Sun after he got back up. My point is, this episode still makes me cry, even if Moon is currently alive and is a better person. Rest in peace, Old Moon. I hope you're happy in heaven.
This episode just... broke me. Hearing Moon's final words genuinely shattered my heart into a million pieces and made me sob so hard. If Moon's not restored I'm genuinely going to fall into depression along with Sun.

I didn't want to cry but I did it for Moon and what he is doing to give another person a second chance. I really love both Sun and Moon but I do love Moon a bit more since I was waiting for the release of FNAF Security Breach game and now since I found this show I couldn't help but feel happy that they are making this into a show. I'm really gonna miss Moon.

The family doesn't need that kind of Moon and it'd make them mourn the loss of their Moon harder! I really hope KC can assure Sun that he's changed and he doesn't want the family to suffer either. That Sunny will have to trust Moon that he made the right call and must allow him to repair himself for final results. Who knows, perhaps it'll give Sun and KC time to bond and try to get to know each other since KC is totally different now. I'm sure it might comfort Sun to get to know Moon's former aggressive half after he decided he didn't want to be a threat. Maybe they could even discuss BloodMoon haunting Sun and try to think of how to relieve Sun of it. Either Sun must get at peace with the fact he killed another in paranoia or BloodMoon can be given a new set of nano machines to reform & split from haunting Sun. I can only hope KC would be able to talk the blood brothers into getting redeemed if they could. That they could live again if they could change like KC. Like they likely don't have to give up killing for their feedings, but perhaps they can get selective with their victims instead of randoms. Also I'd love for the blood brothers to get redeemed and wanna be brothers with Lunar and wanna protect him!

I don't know if that's true, but I'm still glad Lunar hasn't met that AU Moon from the sheer aggression alone. Moon had said he had back ups for him and his brothers, so I can only guess that'll where they get the memories from and download them to repaired Moony. Yet that same thing happened to Nice Eclipse's Moon! He gotten replaced and was just never the same even though he was given the memories from the original Moon! :( I wouldn't want Creator ANYWHERE near Moon when he's trying to repair himself! Creator will just make Moon a monster that he wanted KC to act on. He won't be happy whenever he realized that KC had ran home and locked himself away and is fighting to control the boosted killing urge that Creator added. That Tin can can't be trusted! Yet he can invade their home with ease so he can gain full access to Moon while he's repairing himself! And that's almost as equally scary as the Bootleg Sun gaining the star recently! I don't know why the writers have so much angst, depression, and death! I was really hoping from the New Years Resolution video, the brothers would be working on improving themselves as they had made their resolutions. Like Sun wanted to learn tech and magic to be more helpful, Lunar wanted to learn magic & get to be a happy family with his big brothers (Sun & Moon), and Moon just wanted to keep on surviving against their enemies. It would have been so adorable if Lunar got to learn magic behind Moon's back from Monty or Sun. Sun would do it because he'd need the practice and Lunar's shower of compliments would give him more confidence with magic. With Monty, the gator probably wouldn't be able to resist teaching him a bit of magic because he's cute and they are besties. Then somehow Moon would learn what's happening and realize he can't keep Lunar from learning magic, so annoyed, he would give Lunar his blessing to learn magic but make sure Lunar would be safe 100% with it. That would have been so CUTE! Now there's no magic in their family, so Lunar can't even if he even remembered wanting to learn it so badly! I agree I wish there were more wholesome times. Evil Eclipse needs to get thrown in a trash compactor so everyone can just be SAFE! I wanted more wholesome family moments of the brothers! And I'm nervous that Earth can't be trusted because of how heartless the Creator is. I'm guessing that Moon won't be called dead officially as his body is trying to repair the damage done to it. Without Moon being able to be a host, Lunar or a friend will have to join Sun as a host for any newer videos unless they still have a ton of unreleased pre-recorded vids of Sun & Moon like the duo I done before. But Lunar is in trouble with the whole bomb in his head situation. It'd be a miracle if Sun were to go searching for Lunar, find him, and is told what happened! Yet it sounded like Monty was headed over to see Lunar after he said where the star was that one episode. Either way, Sun or Monty finding Lunar and can somehow help him would be so kind because Lunar most likely misses them both and would be relieved to see that Sun isn't being scary anymore. They can't get rid of Moon. He's a main host. He'll be down and out. But maybe a miracle will happen and he won't be aggressive like that AU Moon! Hopefully whenever he's back he can be a better brother to his brothers! Even adopt KC as a brother. At least then they'd have a tank character in their group!
From how this played out. I'm beginning to see the methods of how Moon deleted himself in Nice Eclipe's dimension. I think it played out in a similar way.

Moon saying "Bye Sun, I hope the next me is kinder to you." Is the thing that hurts me most, bcoz he didn't even realize how much Sun already appreciated him. I can imagine how broken Sunny is going to be hearing this..I think I might take a break from the next lore episode to come. Bcoz Moon, I mean OUR moon is going to be gone, and now what will happen to Lunar? And I rlly can't handle seeing Sun cry. It just affects me in a way than no other. So now knowing that it's come to this, Lunar might also die. But I'm not going to say he will, I'm saying he just might. AND AT THIS POINT I WILL ALWAYS CRY REMEMBERING THIS EPISODE WHO ELSE IS GOING TO CRY WITH ME?
When I saw the title my mind started immediately taking it as just another exaggeration, but as I thought about the Bloodmoon death video and I watched all the way through… I was genuinely left in tears. Moon has been my favorite character by far and I’ve been here almost since the very start, he’s come so far and while I respect and understand his decision I think we are all praying for that 2%! As far as i remember, Lunar also had/has some of Moons memories. Maybe they can do something with that in the future? Since Lunar doesnt really need Moons memories, just his own i think just a thought-
I think most of us knows how sun will act. Worried, lots of questions (I think), more worried, doubt and trying to get moon have his memories back. We don't know if moon will be resetted or be back to normal.
Moon… you did the right thing. I’m happy KC gets to live- but at what potential cost? If Moon dies… I dont know. But with everything that’s happened just this past week or so… I feel like a wound was cut into my heart and opened wider and wider until I couldn’t even feel it anymore. This is another episode that I'm crying real tears from. I really hope they got lucky with the 2% chance, though it's really unlikely. I'm happy KC still survived, but I'm still gonna cry if Moon's memory resets. I'm gonna go and cry more now 😭

It's so suprising that tommorw will mark a year of the old moon's death, I came back to this video to watch it before it becomes a year old. Edit: It's April 15th and the old Moon's day of death, I miss the old moon but I do like the new moon.
I had a heart attack reading the title. I really dont want our moon to go, but I understand why he made that decision. But I'm honestly crying I really didnt want this to end up happening :( I'm gonna cry again if/when we see suns reaction to that message 😭 although, we could acctually get lucky with that 2% chance, although I doubt it.. Legitimately made me tear up.... The fact that Moon doesn't see how much others care for him and the total flatness of his voice like he knew this was going to happen....
He doesn't care, and sees someone like KillCode who hurt him over and over as a better person than he is. He was willing to change even if it cost him his life...
You can tell in his voice that he's afraid to, but has already accepted the fact that he is (probably) going to die. We can only hope that he pulls through, or that if he doesn't he can be rebuilt and keep his memories.

It actually makes sense why Moon would make this decision, considering the fact that (in his mindscape) he just re-visited hundreds of memories about him hurting Sun and hurting people around him. With all the guilt fresh in his mind, it’s probably easier for him to choose to destroy himself rather than make the same mistakes he’s regretted before

That ending speech got me so sad, the slight implication of a creator-Eclipse villain duo, and the fact that Moon is just so accepting of his death and not willing to kill another person. Im just imagining Sun's reaction to it all, him listening to the recording, him learning Moon is dead, etc. The EMOTION in everyone's voice was heartbreaking and I know for a fact this episode is going to haunt me until the next one.

You wanna know what it was called? It was called, "Dearly Beloved". I now understand why the creators decided to use that song. They are god damn smart. Old Moon's death hurts still, even after 9 months. Rest in peace.

I actually almost cried. I really hope Moon can be restored.. Moon was one of my favorites following Nice Eclipse, Lunar, and reformed KC.. he was my favorite since before they existed. This hurt. It hurt a lot. I am basically praying at this point that Moon can be restored. I don't want him gone. I know it ensured his survivability, but.. it won't be the same now..
Small edit now that i have calmed down a bit: I have high respect for Moon's decision here. He sacrificed himself so KC could leave. Whether he gets reset or not, i am not leaving. I am staying here for this. I've stuck with them since i found them, i stuck around for the Eclipse and Lunar arc, i'm sticking around for this too. I love this show too much even with all the ups and downs it's had over the course of its' existence. Loyal to the end.

Sun & Moon, you are the best thing that ever happened to me in my life. I'm so sad that Moon was reseted and (probably) haves no memories anymore, but I see how Moon really cares for others and why he did this. I hope that Sun can understand and can keep Moon's promises and help him. 🙏

No. Moon doesn’t get to do this. He doesn’t get to just forget everything. He still has a lot to atone for. Sun will no doubt feel guilty and heartbroken over this, and he does NOT deserve that guilt. Moon does not deserve to get off scott free by forgetting his past actions and how they affected Sun.
That message. As touching as it was, it’s once again another situation where information is just thrusted onto Sun. He will have no time to process this. KC being better? @@LiahariEren I wouldn't say he was selfish. Whether he spared KC or killed him, his code would still have been messed up afterwards. The only way he could have made it out unscathed was with magic... but that isn't an option he had anymore. At least he had the decency to give Sun a final message in case that 2% was all for not. And he chose to save KC and give him another chance.

@IndoDINO TH-cam he's selfish because he hasn't truly considered how this will affect Sun. He's essentially killing himself for a complete stranger and he knows Sun already isn't doing well. Yes, I know he doesn't want to let KC die, but it's still selfish. And to expect that Sun is going to be ok having a reset Moon should the 2% not happen? Moon would be dead and gone and that wouldn't be his brother anymore and he'd be once again left to deal with the fallout.
I really hope the 2% happens or at most it's just an amnesia arc that gets fixed- though I dislike amnesia arcs bc they're usually just cheap ways to insert angst and conflict, I would greatly prefer the chance for Moon to actually redeem himself and become a better brother to Sun and not just give Sun a new person to deal with that looks and sounds like his dead brother

I know this is 6 months ago and Moon is alive and is basically a better person, but this video still has me an ugly sobbing mess curled up in the corner. Moon is one of my favorite characters, and rewatching his death will always shatter me. This episode will forever be the saddest video I've ever watched, along with being the most sad on the show.
I know for a fact there is an alternative universe where we actually got that 2%, and Moon didn't get reset. I can imagine Moon immediately running up to hug Sun after he got back up.

The family doesn't need that kind of Moon and it'd make them mourn the loss of their Moon harder! I really hope KC can assure Sun that he's changed and he doesn't want the family to suffer either. That Sunny will have to trust Moon that he made the right call and must allow him to repair himself for final results. Who knows, perhaps it'll give Sun and KC time to bond and try to get to know each other since KC is totally different now. I'm sure it might comfort Sun to get to know Moon's former aggressive half after he decided he didn't want to be a threat. Maybe they could even discuss BloodMoon haunting Sun and try to think of how to relieve Sun of it. Either Sun must get at peace with the fact he killed another in paranoia or BloodMoon can be given a new set of nano machines to reform & split from haunting Sun. I can only hope KC would be able to talk the blood brothers into getting redeemed if they could. That they could live again if they could change like KC. Like they likely don't have to give up killing for their feedings, but perhaps they can get selective with their victims instead of randoms. Also I'd love for the blood brothers to get redeemed and wanna be brothers with Lunar and wanna protect him!

@@gachabox3142 Yeah, I want Moon to get repaired after some time and he won't be broken like Nice Eclipse's Moon. :( That Moon I fear will just hit anyone if he's annoyed by them! I don't know if that's true, but I'm still glad Lunar hasn't met that AU Moon from the sheer aggression alone. Moon had said he had back ups for him and his brothers, so I can only guess that'll where they get the memories from and download them to repaired Moony. Yet that same thing happened to Nice Eclipse's Moon! He gotten replaced and was just never the same even though he was given the memories from the original Moon! :(
I wouldn't want Creator ANYWHERE near Moon when he's trying to repair himself! Creator will just make Moon a monster that he wanted KC to act on. He won't be happy whenever he realized that KC had ran home and locked himself away and is fighting to control the boosted killing urge that Creator added. That Tin can can't be trusted! Yet he can invade their home with ease so he can gain full access to Moon while he's repairing himself! And that's almost as equally scary as the Bootleg Sun gaining the star recently!
I don't know why the writers have so much angst, depression, and death! I was really hoping from the New Years Resolution video, the brothers would be working on improving themselves as they had made their resolutions. Like Sun wanted to learn tech and magic to be more helpful, Lunar wanted to learn magic & get to be a happy family with his big brothers (Sun & Moon), and Moon just wanted to keep on surviving against their enemies.
It would have been so adorable if Lunar got to learn magic behind Moon's back from Monty or Sun. Sun would do it because he'd need the practice and Lunar's shower of compliments would give him more confidence with magic. With Monty, the gator probably wouldn't be able to resist teaching him a bit of magic because he's cute and they are besties. Then somehow Moon would learn what's happening and realize he can't keep Lunar from learning magic, so annoyed, he would give Lunar his blessing to learn magic but make sure Lunar would be safe 100% with it. That would have been so CUTE!
Now there's no magic in their family, so Lunar can't even if he even remembered wanting to learn it so badly! I agree I wish there were more wholesome times. Evil Eclipse needs to get thrown in a trash compactor so everyone can just be SAFE! I wanted more wholesome family moments of the brothers! And I'm nervous that Earth can't be trusted because of how heartless the Creator is.
I'm guessing that Moon won't be called dead officially as his body is trying to repair the damage done to it. Without Moon being able to be a host, Lunar or a friend will have to join Sun as a host for any newer videos unless they still have a ton of unreleased pre-recorded vids of Sun & Moon like the duo I done before. But Lunar is in trouble with the whole bomb in his head situation. It'd be a miracle if Sun were to go searching for Lunar, find him, and is told what happened! Yet it sounded like Monty was headed over to see Lunar after he said where the star was that one episode. Either way, Sun or Monty finding Lunar and can somehow help him would be so kind because Lunar most likely misses them both and would be relieved to see that Sun isn't being scary anymore.
They can't get rid of Moon. He's a main host. He'll be down and out. But maybe a miracle will happen and he won't be aggressive like that AU Moon! Hopefully whenever he's back he can be a better brother to his brothers! Even adopt KC as a brother. At least then they'd have a tank character in their group!
Omg, that was so heartbreaking and the message to Sun broke me. I hope they can rebuild from this tragedy and I hope we get our moon back.
From how this played out. I'm beginning to see the methods of how Moon deleted himself in Nice Eclipe's dimension. I think it played out in a similar way.

That's it. I'm done. Moon saying "Bye Sun, I hope the next me is kinder to you." Is the thing that hurts me most, bcoz he didn't even realize how much Sun already appreciated him. I can imagine how broken Sunny is going to be hearing this..I think I might take a break from the next lore episode to come. Bcoz Moon, I mean OUR moon is going to be gone, and now what will happen to Lunar? And I rlly can't handle seeing Sun cry. It just affects me in a way than no other. So now knowing that it's come to this, Lunar might also die. But I'm not going to say he will, I'm saying he just might.
AND AT THIS POINT I WILL ALWAYS CRY REMEMBERING THIS EPISODE WHO ELSE IS GOING TO CRY WITH ME?

When I saw the title my mind started immediately taking it as just another exaggeration, but as I thought about the Bloodmoon death video and I watched all the way through… I was genuinely left in tears. Moon has been my favorite character by far and I’ve been here almost since the very start, he’s come so far and while I respect and understand his decision I think we are all praying for that 2%!
If that 2% fails us, then I know the Moon fanbase will still prevail. See you on the other side Moony ❤️

As far as i remember, Lunar also had/has some of Moons memories. Maybe they can do something with that in the future? Since Lunar doesnt really need Moons memories, just his own i think

I think most of us knows how sun will act. Worried, lots of questions (I think), more worried, doubt and trying to get moon have his memories back. We don't know if moon will be resetted or be back to normal.
I think there's a chance that Sun might blame himself for this, thinking that his earlier destruction of their magic source led to this.
This episode has me crying. But omg this was a lot to take in. Keep up the good work yall
