Dude I unironically loved Tachi so much, I wish we got more of him and his team. Like, it was played a bit for a gag, but my guy Tachi was up there just having an absolute blast, and him having fun helped to motivate his whole team. Sure they called it scary, but they embraced it anyways and they all understood that he was having a good time. This anime just depicted supportive teamwork and brotherly friendship so, so well.

'Some' consider Miyuki as the best catcher in this gen, then there goes Catcher Inui getting some nice screen time during all star Japan arc. Being a captain and starting pitcher shows how formidable he is while Miyuki was thrown as a first baseman. I think things will be settled on Koshien to know who really is the best catcher and captain between this two, plus the showdown of prodigy pitchers from the same year to boot

If I remember correctly, Tachi talks about how much he doesn't like practice, but he works super hard so that he can enjoy games even more.
