Fun Fact about Mauvier (spoilers if you haven’t finished Engage): He was one the first Engage characters we saw in mostly full detail thanks to the leaked images of the game. Same leaks where we also saw Female Alear in all her toothpaste/pepsi hair glory. We knew Mauvier was probably playable because the leaked image was literally of his support list and there was even a shot of Mauvier’s Support conversation with Vander. In Engage you can also tell he was possibly playable because Mauvier was the only of the 4 Hounds to have a personal skill even as an enemy unit.
Don't worry, Duessel, we still love you! Fun fact: not only does Mauvier synergize excellently with Veyle, but he feels like was made to counter Zephia, as her tome inflicts Panic on foes at the start of turn, whereas Mauvier hands Null Panic to his allies at the start of the turn. I just think it's neat!
Hell yeah! I love him in Engage so i am definitely building and investing. I haven't built a proper cav unit since Valhart and just think building a new unit is fun!
I've already built my Mauvier... Rally Atk/Def+ Ruptured Sky Atk/Def Clash 4 Lull Atk/Def 4 Def/Res Smoke 3 I cannot wait until his Grails come out... He is going to be +10 soon
Mauvier definitely has the potential to use Prime 4 A Skills, since his Penitent Lance gives 2 status buffs to himself and allies within 2 spaces, makes sense being Veyle's knight since Veyle gives Resonant Blades and Shields status effects
very serviceable unit wish instead of null panic he got the dull all status or something more widely useful, feel like we dont see a ton of panic effects in the game rn
