I'm kinda hoping Solas didn't actually kill the other 5 gods, because I think it would be much more interesting to be able to meet and defeat them all throughout the course of the story. Anyways, all the team needs to do now is show us Dorian!!! PLEASE BIOWARE!
It's possible that if they were all in prison the same place they might have ended up doing Solas work for him. From what the lore suggests they we're not fond of each other to begin with and I could see them, now inprisoned, turning on each other out of vengeance, the need for power or good old-fashioned maddness especially if one or more has become blighted.
@@jrvazbakerboy It hasn't been confirmed and I have my doubts but that woud even be a better reason for Mythal trying to purify the soul of the fifth archdemon. We know that the Mythal we met was for lack of a better word a small part of the historical Mythal what if the dragon was the greater whole of her and that's why she need to purify it to reclaim it for herself?
As someone who is one of the die-hard Origins fans, I would recommend ppl watch the Q+A with the devs. I was really concerned with what I saw in the trailers and im still not sold on the combat. But if they deliver on the things discussed in the Q+A, this could be the best dragon age, storywise, since origins.
My wish, Harding wants to help repair Bianca, so she calls in Dagna, who gets help from a strange Dwarven friend she's made during her research, Sandal.
I tend to dislike a lot of stuff , but this game does look good. Dragon Age for me was always about the lore and it looks like the story and the atmosphere is good. I don't mind the mass effect combat
Two observations. It's possible Solas could just be permanently banishing them before opening the veil, not kill them. Or they could be the 5 arch demons from the 5 blight. Second observation, it is police that Solas is telling truth and his method of bringing down the veil would have been the lesser violent way with less casualty.
@@427arielle if the lore from descent dlc is true and the darkspawn are elves then the archdemons being the evanuris is plausible. Anyways im excited to learn if its the archdemons/forgotten ones/ evanuris

Finally someone with a little bit of positivity. I honestly don't get the massive amount of hate this game is getting. Sure, the companion trailer was dreadful, but this doesn't look bad at all and if the writing is any good then we're in for a great game
Do we know if the cutscenes and cinematics are mo-capped? Because if so, I want to give Varric's actor all the props in this scene. He looks unready for what is coming but determined and wary, which moves into something that looks like fear which he is steeling himself through. The fake smile he puts on before talking to Solas... it's all just *chef's kiss*!
Thank you so much for having a positive attitude about this! All I have seen lately is criticism and complaints about what the studio and EA has been doing...we have waited how many years for this game? I just want to play and enjoy it for what it is at this point😅
@@antonioscafuri756 the most intersting mage play through was DA2. But sure tevinter shadow dragon mage seems quite interesting being a mage that oppose the society in which he is privileged is an intersting take.
@@sortilien2099 As Dorian says not all mages in tevinter are equals a shadow dragon mage backstory would make sense if rook was the only mage in his family so he would still be worth nothing in Tevinter
I don't think he's killing them during this ritual because one of the statues that is already lit up is the one that falls at the very end that he has to push back and that matches the same symbol on the figure on the right. I think the statues have something to do with keeping the evanuris captured because the two statues that shattered completely are the same 2 that came out of the veil. There's a sneaky edit right at the end right after Rook and Harding get knocked over by the blast - you can see some kind of figure at the bottom of the steps behind Solas which I think is Varric since he is no longer standing behind Solas. And then Rook in one shot is on that bridge, and the next is at the bottom of the stairs I think kneeling next to an injured Varric. Solas is no longer holding the dagger either.
Y'know what I just realized, the hair physics is absolutely insane here. Look at how the girl's ponytail in 7:25 , like that small strand falling on her clothes until her whole ponytail falls in 7:39. Then Varric's long hair sways in 7:30 . And to think that this is a realtime cutscene, too. With your Rook? Imagine doing a CC with long hair. It's just those little details that made me excited to immerse in the cinematics! Edit: I customized my Tav in BG3 with a ponytail hairstyle; it had flows and sways, but it doesn't fall onto her side like in this video.
The game looks fantastic! The writing already has my heart thumping. Yikes. And that character creator! ... egads, I cannot wait to get my hands on it. Thank you so much for work putting all of this together!
Thank you Jackdaw!!!! it’s so nice to see creators who aren’t just harping on the fact that this is not origins 2.0. I’ve noticed there’s a significant divide between dragon age fans those that love pretty much the whole story (including the very rushed story of Hawke) and those that want them to re-create origins. Don’t get me wrong. I loved origins and I still do. I fell in love with the characters and the story. Personally, I hated the combat, but I really like hitting things that get close with my staff! Origins can’t be copied or re-created. It’s beautiful and magnificent!!! But stories progress. I’ve been playing these games for 15 years and I can’t tell you how many saves I have. I’ve been waiting for this since the end of trespasser… and I am so glad it looks like it’s coming sometime soon especially since it was unsure if it was even coming at all.
I can't believe I only just found your channel! It's so nice hearing from someone who enjoys and is passionate about the game! Looking forward to your future videos :)
I am so excited for this game to finally be here. I honestly dont understand the hate the game is getting from the trailer and demo. This looks fantastic, the gameplay looks so much fun. Bioware is bringing back origins/backgrounds that matter. And dialog options like DA2 had (which was the best version of dialog that really had personality imo) along with improved character creation and a more in depth and customizable abilities for the classes. The combat looks the most engaging out of any of the games. Whats there to reasonably hate on?
Jack, I wanted to thank you! I really enjoy your live streams and videos, especially in a time where a lot of TH-camrs just jump on the hate train, without giving the game a fair chance.
Thank you for your objectiv point of view. As a fan of Dragon Age since the first game 15 years ago, i don't understand all the hate. DA for me was allways the story, the world and not the gameplay. And btw the game changed since DA 2. 👍
Wow! I was very sad after watching the trailer, but this video has changed my mind about how the game may turn out. I’m feeling excited for it now! Thanks!!
It's been a long road, I've been watching your channel since the Behind the Scenes of the next Dragon Age trailer from 2020. I always tuned in to your videos everytime there was any morsel of news. Keep up the good work!
I think it looks amazing ❤. After a decade it's not quite what I expected, but so far my biggest complaint is Ogre looks weird, so that's pretty good 😂
21:49 when Solas turns to face the gods, there is something behind him looks like a body with a green flickering beam (on/in his chest???) and Varric is nowhere to be seen yet he was standing close to Solas befor the cutscene. God I hope not...
I really thought Bellara was a rogue, I'm totally ok with her being a mage though lol it seems like a unique take on the mage and not just another one with a staff.
Loved this breakdown! Thanks for everything you do in the DA community! ❤ Your content and discord has been a safe haven from the warzone that is twitter right now 😂
Watched the discord yesterday, and they absolutely gave me everything I wanted except for the mabari. Better rogue combat* Romance with female Dalish* More and better hair* Separate horn and hair options for Qunari* Great job, but I better get a mabari in 5 (and make them different colors.
I more see the pillars of light being the breaking of seals than killing the Evanuris, and if the theories about them being the same beings as the Old God dragons, lends themselves to more probably being Ghilain'An as you've said (corresponding to Razikale) and Falon'Din (corresponding to Lusacan), since it's more likely Elgar'Nan was assiciated with Dumat, his contemporary leader of the Old Gods pantheon. IE: Elgar'Nan becomes Dumat, Mythal becomes the eighth forgotten Dragon, Andruil becomes Zazikel, Sylaise becomes Toth, Dirthemen becomes Andoral, June becomes Urthemiel, Ghilain'An becomes Razikale, and Falon'Din becomes Lusacan.
Another possibility for how the lights shine from each of the elven god statues is that Solas isn't killing them heroically, but taking their power in the same way he did when he killed Flemeth/Mythal in DAI. His fear in seeing them is not about the threat to the world they present, but that they will take revenge on him for jailing them and then trying to take their power. Given his statements that he is willing to risk the lives of eveeryone who is not a elf like him, even a rejecting a romanced Elven Inquaitor who asks to join him, to reach his goal of returning his Elves to life. this makes way more sense than grasping at straws to find a way to make Solas heroic and/or redeemable
Even though you said this video would be out this weekend, on Thursday and Friday I kept refreshing my TH-cam page to see if you put this video out lol. I was eagerly waiting for your breakdown. There's sooooo much info that's come out, so it's nice to have it all in one succinct video. Can always count on you to do that! Thanks for your service, Jack!
I'm not sure about the beams symbolising the elven gods deaths by Solas as one of those beams was horns who walked out of the fade at the end, plus the 2 statues without beams are moonhead and the spiky one so im not sure. Its strange though because if you look at the inner statues there's actually 2 horns statues next to each other which is odd as the outer statues show all 7 gods.
It could be the "twins" Falon'Din and Dirthamen, or it might be a misdirection. It wouldn't be the first time a piece of game reveal was altered by BW. They know we go through these with a fine toothed comb for all the deets. I remember during the lead up to Inquisition, there was a scene with a Warden and everyone was trying to figure out who it was and it was simply a placeholder for Alistair or Stroud in that scene.
I know a few people seem to think it's Falon'din but I honestly don't think it is. If you look at the far left side statue it's a strange kind of triangle type shape. Well In the Dalish origins in DA Origins at the beginning Tamlen points to a statue of Falon'din and he has the exact same triangle type head piece ! It's like a 3 pointed shape it's strange. I definitely think there's a chance it could be Dirthamen though. I'm putting my money on Elgar'nan for a few reasons but it will take forever to explain on here lol. I would put Dirthamen a close 2nd though 😊
@@lost_witness_8495 I think it's probably Elgar'nan, too, but a lot of people have pointed at that there are two similar statues and I was just trying to figure out why.
@@julilla1 It's very strange I've noticed a few similarities when it comes to that horned symbol. It seems different from the others for some reason. There's mosaics in Trespasser that show the horned symbol upside down and a few other places as well. There's something significant about that particular head piece that's different from the rest. Inthinknits because it's the leader of the pantheon. It's also strange how moonhead looks corrupted and blighted but horned guy doesn't.
I love Varric but reaaaally don’t like that he is yet again the companion’s bestie/mentor. Dorian should be the one. The game takes place in and near his homeland, he should be our mentor. I wanted him to be an ally, sure, but let him stay in Kirkwall and cleaning up that part of the world.
At first, I’ve always believed the evanuris on the left was ghil because of her animalistic design but now I’m leaning towards Andruil. I remember there was a codex entry saying something like “she wore armor of the void and her face was forgotten,” if you look closely, it looks like she’s wearing a mask, and her tentacles could definitely be armor from the void. She’s also got history with solas in one of the dalish legends that merril tells. The dude on the right could be any of the male gods but I lean towards Falon Din because Solas’ animosity towards him specifically. I think it’s pretty much confirmed that the old gods and evanuris are the same in some way. This makes me think we’re going to get a double blight to go along with the evanuris’ return.
I'm also thinking the one on the left is Andruil. It's heavily implied in the lore that she's the one who brought the blight to the land. And what we're seeing here certainly looks like a blighted person (in the same vein as Corypheus or the Architect). Plus, the overall shape is reminiscent of a bow and Andruil is the godess of the hunt, so it tracks. As for the other figure, I don't know. Elgarnan would make sense as a main antagonist since he's the leader and is already a big name in the pantheon, but I think it's one of the twins (Falon'din or Dirthamen) because we see one of their statues get destroyed and the figure that emerges is wearing the same headdress.
@@moonlightingjam Apparently there’s another lore entry about andruil where she’s said to have a golden spear rippling with heat; this is a very interesting detail because in an old concept image of this particular elven god, who takes a giant centipede form in that image, she’s wielding a spear of that exact description. I’m now 90% sure it’s andruil. It’s certainly andruil or ghil though; that’s confirmed either way.
I also thought for years now that we'd get Ghilan'nain, but the two things I can't get over is 1. The spear in that artwork years ago and 2. In the Missing mural with the two female elven gods embracing, the one rising now was cradling the other, who seemed hurt. In all legends Andruil is always the one in power in their relationship dynamic and her cradling Ghilan'nain sounds very much like the myth of Andruil ascending Ghil to godhood. So I think it has to be Andruil, even if all the foreshadowing over the years implied Ghil. The old god equivalent of the one on the right was Lusacan who even in universe is thought to have ties to Falon'din, so it might be him? Then again the newest art works of all the head symbols show the one on the right as the boss of the pantheon, so I guess it is Elgar'nan, though I kinda hate that. Dumat was the leader of the old gods, so why would that not have been Elgar'nan..
@@Felsenkeks Well, it looks like it was Ghil after all; I guess the thing about the spear was a red herring. It’s also confirmed to be Elgarnan on the right but totally get what you’re saying about Dumat. It was always implied that Ghil was urthemiel but apparently that wasn’t right either. I think it’s certainly confirmed that the Evanuris and Old gods are the same at this point but I guess the counterparts are a bit off.
@@npc6254 indeed. I'm kind of bothered it's not Andruil if I'm being honest. There's also the crescent shape of her headpiece and how it looks like Andruil's vallaslin and the fact that she wears a mask, like how all forgot Andruil's face when she put on void armor... oh well, I hope it will make sense when we get to see the full game. Like maybe we learn when and how the power dynamic between the two goddesses shifted or what the deal is with that spear. About the old gods being confirmed as elven gods... I still think it's more like what Corypheus had going with his "archdemon" of them not quite being pets but like dragons that act as horcruxes and hold a significant amount of their power. I'd assume that the dialogue between Cassandra and Solas was put in DAI for a reason... but then again you never know, as this reveal once again shows 😅
I didn't get the impression that Solas was killing the Elvhen gods during his ritual, just that he was binding or syphoning their energy for his spell casting.
People keep talking about the Dragon Age Keep as if it’s no longer needed, as if it’s not the only way to import a custom world state in Inquisition. Dragon Age Keep better not be going anywhere, for Inquisition’s sake!
Been watching you since the time of you theories videos since the teaser trailer at EA Play in 2018 dropped, so glad you keep the positivity about the franchise we love. So many ''true fans'' saying this is the wordt thing ever, wo really , probably only played Origins once and forgot about the series are trying to bring dows the enjoyment from everyone else, it's sad to see.
Jackdaw makes such good videos. I’m so excited for this game now. I want closure for my Inquisitor. Rook’s voice sounds like the bounty hunter from Mass Effect 2…I can’t remember his name right now.
I'm sad about the Keep because I've legit been waiting for them to add the Varric narration for the Inquisitors story since the game came out. So far it ends on that Inquisition prelude. Guess that's where it ends.
Finally a good video, I've been having some trouble resonating with you lately Jackdaw, but let me explain where I'm coming from. I am a die-hard Dragon Age Origins fan & only care about the franchise in so far as it's able to replicate the game every Dragon Age fan fell in love with in the first place. While I'm personally not opposed to the new art style but the continuation of the key concepts from the Origins story like the Blight, Darkspawn and involvement of old characters like Alistair, Morrigan, Leliana & the Hero of Ferelden is why I will play this game. And even if Morrigan isn't a part of this one, at least her essence should be there, setting her up for the next title. With less Darkspawn & without a certain dark fantasy vibe, Dragon Age just isn't going to feel like DA anymore. I was honestly afraid when I saw the initial trailer, but am slightly more comforted by the gameplay reveal.
Ya'll ... there's a really good reason for the "THE" in the title. I got to thinking -- Patrick Weekes is too thoughtful to ignore continuity of titles (one word) for no reason. Which reminded me that they love *ANAGRAMS*. So, yeah ... The Veilguard's anagram is Evil Daughter. !!!!!!!
Thought the same tbh. Would be a good ending for those who romanced him or at least liked him enough. Always thought that whatever is gonna happen in the next game should be ended by Solas and Inquisitor together.
Not that I’m complaining really but I don’t like the fact that they eliminated the file transfer option. That was the one thing dragon age and mass effect had that made them unique in terms of storytelling and expansion.
Thanks to that reveal, my excitement is unmeasured, although I'm a little bit bummed about the amount of active skills, especially for mages... Nevertheless, still excited to play it soon 🐉⏳
I discovered your channel today, one of my favourite dragon age channels! You actually enjoy the franchise and don’t just hate on it which is alarmingly refreshing nowadays
Could be he's using them somehow during the ritual. Possibly not killing them either. That or the idea of mortals killing gods isn't something he can accept.
Sandal: One day the magic will come back. All of it. Everyone will be just like they were. The shadows will part, and the skies will open wide. Bodahn: Huh. What's this? Sandal: When he rises, everyone will see. Bodahn: By the ancestors, what's gotten into you, my boy? Sandal: Enchantment? Bodahn: Hmph. That's more like it. When he rises? I dont think that sandal means solas by that.
Hey Jack! Great video as always! I did notice two dread wolf statues at the entrance of this ritual area. They were on top of the wall Rook and Varric had their debate. Perhaps this was a temple dedicated to all the gods. But yet, like you said, where is Mythal? She died sure, but that never stopped people from worshipping her before. What do you think?
I think Mythal is still there, waiting for her time. We still don't know what she put into the eluvian before her scene with Fen'Harel, and he did seem to take something from her. She's either a part of him now like Flemythal or she's got a little horcrux tucked away.
I'm hoping there is significant origin story for the nobody Rook to even make sense being part of the vanguard group to find Solas. Where is the real group intended to be powerful enough to have any chance stopping a god from destroying the world when Varic and the Inquisitor's attempt to talk Solas out destroying the world fails? It will seem dumb if the only plan to stop the destruction of the world was to send just Varic, a scout, a mage investigator, and a random nobody to stop a god. It seems like finding and finally confronting Solas too late to bring a reasonable force against him should take place at the end of Act 1 of this game. I'm going to need more to the story than the nobody rook was good in a bar fight so he should help Varic and Harding stop a god.
We are so far into the Dragon Age that it has become inadvertedly so interesting and so complicated, for sure anyone who will have a comeback will have a huge impact. I cannot wait to see what happens in the end of SoLavellan ❤
Jackjaw repeatedly says that the two elven gods are REALLY evil, but I'm hoping the game presents more shades of gray. King Bhelen is arguably an evil dwarven king, but it only by supporting his rise to power in DAO that the social reforms of the dwarven kingdom can begin. The honorable alternative would never support needed social changes due to his conservative nature.
Piling onto the positivity: -Every DA game appeared weirdly different upon reveal. There has never been a formula to break, except the lore and tone. Very personally, I'd rather take more leaning into DAs unique artstyle than returning to DAOs rather classic/conventional CRPG stylings. -I love that we have a "name" rather than some chewy title. -Rook's voice direction (Not blaming the actors) is miles ahead of DAI. I'd rather deal with some occasional awkwardness than no personality at all ever. Especially with everyone else around them charming af 24/7 -Varric. Thank you for existing, buddy. Just good to see you. Few VG characters are this profoundly alive to me.
I have Executed Loghain Mac Tir for his crimes in Dragon Age 1. I executed Anders for his crimes in Dragon Age 2. And I will execute Solas for his crimes in Dragon Age 3 & 4.
I already got my Qunari combat mage lord of fortune planned to go! Now I'm just hoping no delays and that it comes out first during the big fall/winter release craze.
Look up some TH-cam videos about it the majority of PC related issues with origins if ur playing the definitive edition cane be resolved by downloading a patch that lets the game engine use 4g of ram made by the community there are a few videos showing download and install of the patch. I had to do this as I couldn't get out of the prolog
3:22 honestly one of the true magical moments in DA:O was the playable backstory. it gave you a stake in the world, and really made you feel a part of the fabric of it. Just selecting a faction and giving a paragraph briefing on it feels so cheap and inconsequential from an RPG perspective.

Well they "killed" Mythal and you see how that turned out....
@@jrvazbakerboyThat’s just the old gods.

Literally THIS!! Best comment ever! ENCHANTMENT! 💯❤🔥
ENCHANTMENT?
*demon and Venatori carcasses lie all around the floor, yet one small figure stands with a huge grin on his face*
“…Enchantment?”
I'm team "the Evanuris are the Archdemons"
@@427arielle if the lore from descent dlc is true and the darkspawn are elves then the archdemons being the evanuris is plausible. Anyways im excited to learn if its the archdemons/forgotten ones/ evanuris
@@Eualia well darkspawn are highly dependent on race the more werewolfey ones are elves, ogres are qunari (never figured out where the darkspawn sourced qunari from) the little genlocks are dwarves and hurlocks are a more original take on zombified humans and each race has 1 or more brood mothers doing brood mother things like replenishing ranks and then you have the magisters whom just seemingly exist in the blight like horde commanders that an archdemon uses sparingly.
To be Honest, the not being able to control party members doesn't bother me. In inquisition I literally just switched to my party members to issue a command and then I switched back to my Inquisitor. DATV won't feel much different.
But my Condolences to those who did an entire playthrough in inquisition with a party member.
I can't believe we're just months away from finally getting our hands on this. It's been a long wait and I'm hoping it's been worth it
I legit thought before my break just now “Jack will have something up by noon surely” and you had a vid up before 9 my time. The blessing of timezones! 🥰🤩
This game is by far the most serious I’ve ever seen Varric. He was was always so cool and easy going
Thank you so much for having a positive attitude about this! All I have seen lately is criticism and complaints about what the studio and EA has been doing...we have waited how many years for this game? I just want to play and enjoy it for what it is at this point😅
you can be a mage, a rogue... yeah but first play through is always a warrior for me.
I'll definetly play a mage, still unsure between shadow dragon and mournwatch though 🤔
Mages are powerful and rogues are fun, but the coolest loot is always for warriors.
Yeah!!!! Warriors all the time to me through DA franchise😂
Love your positivity Jackdaw! Thank you for the breakdown, been looking forward to this video! :)
I cannot contain my excitement about the fact I can be a warden again
Hair physics was one of the main things the devs say they were proud of
The game looks fantastic!
I want this game like yesterday, but fine, I'll wait these last few months for it ❤
AH SAME!!
I can't believe I only just found your channel! It's so nice hearing from someone who enjoys and is passionate about the game! Looking forward to your future videos :)
The gameplay trailer certainly removed a bunch of my concerns. Looks good so far.
I love this so much , so extremely hyped for the release 😱❤🤯
I am so excited for this game to finally be here. I honestly dont understand the hate the game is getting from the trailer and demo. This looks fantastic, the gameplay looks so much fun. Bioware is bringing back origins/backgrounds that matter. And dialog options like DA2 had (which was the best version of dialog that really had personality imo) along with improved character creation and a more in depth and customizable abilities for the classes. The combat looks the most engaging out of any of the games. Whats there to reasonably hate on?
I am STRUGGLING being patient for this game. It’s been such a LONG, awful, wait. 😭😭😭
Thanks!!
Wow actual positivity for this game!
It's been a long road, I've been watching your channel since the Behind the Scenes of the next Dragon Age trailer from 2020. I always tuned in to your videos everytime there was any morsel of news. Keep up the good work!
I think it looks amazing ❤. After a decade it's not quite what I expected, but so far my biggest complaint is Ogre looks weird, so that's pretty good 😂
Thanks for keeping us all updated ❤😁
21:49 when Solas turns to face the gods, there is something behind him looks like a body with a green flickering beam (on/in his chest???) and Varric is nowhere to be seen yet he was standing close to Solas befor the cutscene. God I hope not...
I just posted this on Twitter, it looks like the blast pushed him to the feet of the stairs along with Solas's dagger!
Shout out to Jackdaw for doing the yeoman’s work over the last week or so. Keep it up, bruh-we love it!
I really thought Bellara was a rogue, I'm totally ok with her being a mage though lol it seems like a unique take on the mage and not just another one with a staff.
Loved this breakdown! Thanks for everything you do in the DA community! ❤ Your content and discord has been a safe haven from the warzone that is twitter right now 😂
Aww thank you so much!!!
This all sounds good. I am still moving Rook to E4 and taking the Bishop. Okay, bad joke done.
I'm so excited for this game! ✨🐲
I just hope Varric doesn't die and R I P Bianca
they can fix her , its dwarf technology and he is a dward
Bianca dies, Varric retires.
And that he's romancable too
i don't know if him will die, but i saw a thing in the trailer that tell me he is injured...
@@lolasalazar3619 Like I said he retires.
My only major complaint is the change in combat. The changed it from a system I can be good at to a system I just can’t be
I love Varric but reaaaally don’t like that he is yet again the companion’s bestie/mentor. Dorian should be the one. The game takes place in and near his homeland, he should be our mentor. I wanted him to be an ally, sure, but let him stay in Kirkwall and cleaning up that part of the world.
There is still posibility. Dorian is one of fan favourite
So excited for this game. It's looking so good so far 🙌🏼 rip Bianca tho 😭💔
Gameplay looks amazing! Can’t wait to meet our companions ❤
I'd assume that the dialogue between Cassandra and Solas was put in DAI for a reason... but then again you never know, as this reveal once again shows 😅
I didn't get the impression that Solas was killing the Elvhen gods during his ritual, just that he was binding or syphoning their energy for his spell casting.
still bummed that there was no option to join Solas in Tresspasser and have Solas and Inquisitor Lavellan appear as bossess to take down
I hope The Architect will return.
People keep talking about the Dragon Age Keep as if it’s no longer needed, as if it’s not the only way to import a custom world state in Inquisition. Dragon Age Keep better not be going anywhere, for Inquisition’s sake!
This like my 5th breakdown video im watching im hooked😭

I'm in love, Thank you for this deep dive. Im excited to play this game!!
I’m fully on board and I’m excited for this game the more I hear about it the more I get excited
i was disappointed by the reveal trailer, but this video actually made me kind of excited for this game again, so thank you for that
Your videos is making me look to this game with hopeful eyes.
Choosing the Grey Warden faction.
Thank you for all your hard work, Jackdaw!
I'm sad about the Keep because I've legit been waiting for them to add the Varric narration for the Inquisitors story since the game came out. So far it ends on that Inquisition prelude. Guess that's where it ends.
The keep is pretty instrumental for a play through of inquisition, hope they don’t do away with it
Bioware took my soul long time ago. Now It takes my money. (this is the first game in my life that I'm going to preorder) ❤
Design-wise, Demons could have been done better.
Lore-wise, definitely has me giving the Rock Wraiths and Descent DLC another look.
Theory : In the end Solas seals himself behind the veil to save the world and the Inquisitor can choose to go with him. Thoughts?????
Thought the same tbh. Would be a good ending for those who romanced him or at least liked him enough. Always thought that whatever is gonna happen in the next game should be ended by Solas and Inquisitor together.
THE ULTIMATE BREAKDOWN!!! IT DOESN'T GET MORE XXXTREME THAN THIS!!!
You actually enjoy the franchise and don’t just hate on it which is alarmingly refreshing nowadays
very well paced too, very informative, keep up the good work!!
And yet Solas was enraged in DA Inquisition when Grey Wardens wanted to kill all the old gods...now he does it himself
Could be he's using them somehow during the ritual. Possibly not killing them either.
That or the idea of mortals killing gods isn't something he can accept.
I wonder if this is what Sandal spoke about
Sandal: One day the magic will come back.
This is my favorite channel. I've been watching pretty much since the beginning, and you've always done an amazing job. I can't wait for this game!!!!
I think saying he's killing the gods is jumping the gun, I personally think he was just trying to bring the Veil down.
Thank you Jackdaw for your great work!
Piling onto the positivity:
-Every DA game appeared weirdly different upon reveal.
Especially with everyone else around them charming af 24/7
-Varric.
I can't wait for veilguard.
I'm more hyped than a 2018 cybertrash fanboy after watching the 48 minute gameplay walkthrough.
I already got my Qunari combat mage lord of fortune planned to go! Now I'm just hoping no delays and that it comes out first during the big fall/winter release craze.
watching this while I try reinstall DAO so it actually works on my pc in 2024 :')
I kept my PS3 *just* so I can replay DA:O and DA2 when the mood strikes me. :-)
@@virginiamurr3703dude SAME
3:22 honestly one of the true magical moments in DA:O was the playable backstory. it gave you a stake in the world, and really made you feel a part of the fabric of it. Just selecting a faction and giving a paragraph briefing on it feels so cheap and inconsequential from an RPG perspective.
I'm totes being a giant AMAB Non Binary Qunari.
Solas from Dragon Age reminds me of Jon Irenicus from Baldur's Gate II
Thank you for the summary!
