  • Samir Nicolas Saddi, a Lebanese-Canadian architect and photographer, has always intertwined his two passions.
“Photography has been an amazing tool to discover the world," he told Morocco World News on the sidelines of today's Marrakech Photography Gatherings.
He spoke enthusiastically of how his camera has accompanied him through his travels across Africa, Canada, the Middle East, and the Gulf.
His latest exhibition, focused on Lebanese architecture, highlights not just modern designs, but how ordinary people in mountain areas organize their living spaces.
Saddi’s work delves deeper into the relationship between architecture and the human experience.
"I wanted to show how ordinary people live, the space they use, and how they evolve around the house," he explained.
Through his lens, he captures the intimate details of everyday life, showcasing the connection between people and their environments.
