  • Strap on in, because we're going to go from closed package to working watch with the SKXMod Ana-Digi Tuna Modification Kit, and a Casio G-Shock GAB2100CT-5A Wristwatch. We'll have some bumps on the way, and some missing tape, but the result is compelling, if not huge.

Your warning still rings in my ears, Nick. "Don't get into watches!"
My grails have been sold, my bank account is in pain, and my watch lust is never satiated.
Seriously though, I am much happier just playing with 3 or 4 affordable watches like this than buying pieces i am afraid to wear.
Thanks for showing us this mod.

That was a very entertaining video. I will be leaving my G-Shock as it is.

For the sake of his channel Nick assigned all his attribute points to dexterity and charisma.

I'm thinking an 8 inch wrist and 24 inch pythons might be a requirement for this one. Critical gear if you need to take out the Predator.

Good choice if you haven't been pushing too many pencils.

I’ve actually tried out a 16 mm watch. I have an almost 9 inch wrist. This is something I wouldn’t be afraid of.

tip from a hobbyist/Jackass. Pick up some Rodico from Bergeon. Not just good for cleaning out watches, also commonly used for setting hands in watches... also great for cleaning out weird nooks and crannies in other EDC tools

Looking at the price: if the goal is to obtain a super-deep-sea diving watch (100ATM is when you’re wandering around in a weighted suit as opposed to scuba), that makes this pretty cheap, about on a par with Seiko / Citizen’s midrange divers. This is most definitely *not* a “go-anywhere-do-anything” bit of equipment, just too big for that.

an Arnie or SafArnie is cheaper, even if you mod an Arnie with a stainless steel shroud i still think it's cheaper.
