By far, the best explanations out there for SAT level questions. Most other channels or prep courses give very vague one size fits all explanations, whereas you really elaborate and try to answer as many potential questions students from all levels may have. Thank you 👏🏽

Thank you! I’ve been doing this a long time, so I’ve basically been asked every conceivable question, so I know how to anticipate what people might struggle with.

That's really helpful, Sir. I was able to reach to dumb summary on the first trial.

That’s great! I was hoping I did a good job of explaining a difficult concept. Let me know how the strategy works on your next test!

Thank you so much for the uploads! Amazing content as usual!
I'm an international student and have been following your videos (They have been really really helpful and pretty much the best SAT content I could find for free on TH-cam! And if I could, I would definitely support the channel and I hopefully will when I become able)
I do try to follow your "dumb summaries" rule but I find myself missing information sometimes and that causes me to make mistakes in the test. Also, sometimes there are some subtle lines in the texts with complex words which I do not understand (For vocabulary, I am trying to finish Word Smart 1), but they make all the difference when answering the questions. I also make mistakes in such cases.
I also haven't read much English books or poems, and I will be taking the SAT exam this October. Is there any way for me to improve my reading comprehension or not make these mistakes in the test? (My current score on practice test 4 was 1430, 1390 on practice test 2, which I thought was more difficult and I'm hoping to at least score 1550).

Yeah, you’re talking about what I think is the hardest part of the SAT. Understanding the vocabulary and passages is a long-term project that is hard to improve just for the SAT. I think you’re right to continue studying vocabulary words. The Dumb Summaries really come down to practice, and then comparing your process to mine using the videos. Not every passage has a nice, obvious Dumb Summary, but I try my best to pull one out. A lot of times, I’m confused and just let the choices tell me what to care about. I’m actually much better at noticing Strong Words in the answer choices because they usually indicate traps, or they at least give me some concrete idea to go hunting for in the passage. If you haven’t seen my lesson on Trap Answers, I highly recommend it:

i have been studying for the last3 weeks my test is this saturday i got a 1200 on practice test 1 and 2 but i want atleast a 1250 on the actual test. what can i do in 4 days?

In my opinion, the fastest way to improve is grammar and Desmos. The rules can be memorized and the calculator has lots of tricks that you might not think to use. Start with these:

@@footballfan1516That’s a great score! Nice job! Yes, the real test should feel very similar to the practice tests. It might be a little harder to pace in those hard second modules, so don’t worry if you feel like you have to skip an extra question or two. Just guess something, and make sure you get to all of the grammar, transitions, and outlines at the end of the Reading sections. That’s where the easiest points are, and you don’t want to miss out on them if you run short on time. Good luck!
