      Me and my friends were supposed to go back to Algodonales and ZG on the first week of May... We had to cancel due to the international situation with Covid-19. I am really bummed 🙁

    My tip to all future paraglider- and hanggliderpilots AVOID COLLISIONS AT ALL COASTS): 1. scan the airspace around the landingarea for hanggliders or paragliders in the air; 2. scan the ground for landed hanggliders and paragliders and finaly scan the ground of the landing area for all kinds of handicaps like buildings, trees, bushes etc. and all kinds of other handicaps whitch could handicap your safety landing. You avoid a long time in hospital, a terrible end of a holiday and finaly a remember of a bad experiance. So, and now join flying.....

    Hey @Peter, any recommendation for a good vario? Don't want to spend 500 Eur on one, 300 sound more reasonable :) I learn a lot form your videos bro :)

    • @PeterHoldy
      @PeterHoldy  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Many people spending lots of money for fancy Varios and they never use them proper.(basically waste of money) If you are beginner or you flying just for fun , then simple vario is best option. They last long time and they are ready. I flying for 4 years and i am happy fly with simple beeps. That all you need. If you will aiming for serious XC competition flying ,then i will upgrade for something more fancy. My fist year of flying was without vario as i was learning fly by feeling. Then simple vario helps you find the strongest core. If you still want anything fancy then choose what you like. 👍

      @xistsixt 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thx guys 😊 same to you! Stay safe and groundhandle a lot. It's what I do too. Tipp: try out different wings if possible. Our school saved a lot of used paragliders of different categories, sizes and ages. I never thought that there are so many so much different wings. And if the wind is gusty like mostly in the swiss alps it is a hell of fun and better as Fitness training...especially if you try out a big c class wing... 😂
