Can I ask what time did you all get there? We've been somewhere around there once for a kayak tour, and it was extremely busy. What time would you suggest getting there to avoid a big crowd?
Enjoy your videos Cocoa FL, just got a SUP recently, looking forward to the springs adventure. Practicing in the intercoastal, not sure which one to start at? Been tubing at Silver springs, but seems short and sweet, not alot of little scenic routes What do you think? Where's a good spring to float, paddle for starters? Thanks again
Thanks for the inquiry. We'd suggest starting at the Weeki Wachee State Park and float down stream. The current will be at your back the whole time and you can practice your balance and turns without having to paddle too much. You have to pay to launch there, but we loved it. Let us know how it goes, and if you find other springs we should explore on our channel.
I went there last weekend and it was mobbed with people and I was very disappointed. It allows boats to go through this which makes it difficult as this is a small river and when it is crowded, they bump into you. On top of that, we encountered a lot of rude people (young people) smoking pot, talking disrespectfully to people (me and my ex) and while it was a pretty river, I won't be going back at least not on a weekend. We did see a smaller Manatee.
I'm so sorry it wasn't a great experience. We went on a weekday and it was not very crowded. Another option is to go to the state park further up the river. They have strict rules and I don't think they allow any boats--just kayaks and canoes. That should be a better experience. When I am on my paddle board nothing matters.😊
It is a great escape from the world.
What a beautiful area!
Yes--truly amazing experience and the water is so clear!
Love your channel! Keep paddling!
Thanks so much Tina. We've got a bunch of paddle board locations we're going to next. But let us know if there's any place you'd recommend we paddle.

We parked around 8AM and there were probably only 10 other cars there. When we got back, the parking lot was totally full. So the earlier the better.
@@PaddleboardPlaces Great, thank you for the information!
So starting at Roger's Park there is a way to do the whole loop and be able to paddle back to Roger's or need somw sort of transportation?
Enjoy your videos

We heard there could be some crocs, but didn't see any.
