      I genuinely think he can win worlds provided that he can get thru akhmed ghadzimagomedov from Russia who beat him at the yarygin this year...if he keeps training like this and wrestles in dynamite fashion like I know he can, he should beat him...

    Grounding, or ‘earthing,’ as some people call it, involves placing your feet directly on the ground without shoes or socks as a barrier. The logic behind this practice relates to the intense negative charge carried by the Earth. This charge is electron-rich, theoretically serving as a good supply of antioxidants and free-radical destroying electrons.

      We are human beings on this earth. Like yes.. we have to live in houses and have jobs and make money. But all of these buildings are built upon the earth. So theres the water cycle, and air cycles that are constantly going on in the earth. There is also electric cycles as well. You think trees, with theyre roots deep in the ground is only absorbing water form the soil? The bio electric cycles in the earth relate to the ELECTRICITY that makes your NERVOUS SYSTEM function.

      @supra1949 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      theres a difference, lifiting weights mean dumbbells, heavyweighted things, lifting barbells. I assume he focuses on calisthenics, and primarly working with body weighted excercises. Weighted training builds alot of muscles, which is good, but theres a limit to that in wrestling. In wrestling its best for you to be flexible and strong at the same time, agility is important.

    I get he doesn’t lift weights, and I like functional patterns for average joes, but functional patterns doesn’t look like it is heavy enough to improve his wrestling, it seems to me like he may as well just do wrestling drills and get the same result

    • @jordanbouma9620
      @jordanbouma9620 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Functional patterns are for developing a better human average joe or world class athlete. Doesn’t matter. It’s that time under tension whilst moving in ways your body can transfer over to practical movement that gives athletes like him an edge. Moving weight in a linear motion, focusing on one muscle group at a time and not making your body work as a whole system in the ways that sport/life demands of it just isn’t practical.

      You hit the nail on the head with this comment. This is what everyone is trying to discredit FP for. Not moving "enough weight". That is because no one can actually see how much weight he is moving during these movements and you aren't used to moving weight this way so you have no idea what that feels like. What if he is doing those movements with 45-60 lbs? You try that without falling over or hurting yourself and tell me he isn't moving any weight.
      take a video of you moving 45 lbs with that same exercise and compare it to Dake and tell me he isnt strong... strong is subjective to what tests you use to describe it.
