Good to see a women in a leadership position at GCU. However, that is just adhocism. The biggest challenge is quality of teaching faculty and their lack of dedication for teaching and research. Most faculty come to the campus, teach one class, drink tea, have "gup shup", supervise a lab class (only for 15 minutes) and then more chai and "gup shup" and go home. How can you expect excellence from such attitude. At least this used to be when I graduated from GCU in late 80s. Hope things have changed, but I doubt. Good luck to the new VC.
