I remember NASCAR Rumble as well as Rumble Racing, both fun games for the time, and games I wish we still had more of today.
Oh man the announcer ("Yeah!" is heard gently in the distance)
I adored this game, it's really refreshing when a game like this doesn't take itself too seriously. As you brought up it was so fun as a kid to discover the easter eggs, I learned about them when I got spun out during a race and when I was facing backwards I saw one! As a kid that blew my mind.
Been waiting for this one.

Needs a sequel/remake or some sort. Honestly surprised there was no arcade adaptation of this game because as you said, it's literally an arcade racer...more arcade like than actual arcade racing games.
Crazy how you reviewed this game when I was thinking of this some time ago in the Summer/Spring.
A mix of this with Twisted Metal would be a neat combination.
Haven't heard of this, but I actually have played NASCAR Rumble before as a kid! I'd love to see that covered in a future episode if you're so inclined
I still have NASCAR Rumble from when I was young but never knew about the sequel til years later lol.
Remember me and a friend was playing this like 12-13 years ago, and I spawned a tornado, and he tried to chase it, miss those days😊
not as good as the PS1 version, but set the difficulty into "no mercy" when playing with friends and you'll get a fun and challenging experience,
Here in Indonesia this game is pretty popular because all of ps2 rental comes with this game and it's just a fun game to play with friends

too bad it ain't Nascar Rumble 2, but im not complaining. I forgot if Rumble Racing has custom races or not but in Nascar Rumble you can have custom races, all golf carts is peak entertainment.
If you like the stunt system of rumble and car combat of tm-i cannot recommend hot wheels velocity x. The game is a combo of both that seems almost seemless. Should definitely try it
this was one of the most favorite game of mine and I had the most best memories with this game since I played this with my sibling cousins niece nephews it was like a game party and now I really miss those days

Holy moly, what a flashback. I spent hours and hours on this game as a kid, haven't played it in ages but it still looks like it holds up great
Plus the way the cars had like different levels so that you could use them even later into the game??? So cool!!
I have never seen this game but boy does it give me Speed Racer vibes on the PS2 with all the spinning and flipping but doing those things in *that* game is for Smashing The Opponents.
NASCAR Rumble I still play today. From the footage you provided, it seems like some of the maps in this game are remixes of maps from the first game such as Silver Falls and Ship Shape.

I never played this! But the after image brake trails on stunts remind me of that futuristic sci fi Rush game. Rush was an Acclaim racing title I think? They definitely feel like they had arcade cab origins but was ported to home consoles like the n64. I’m pretty sure the future rush was also on Nintendo 64. Would be interested in a peak if that’s possible 😅

I LOVED THIS GAME
I definitely remember playing rumble racing, it was years ago but don't remember if I played it before getting twisted metal head on and black or after but I do remember the timed stunt courses were pretty difficult and took getting used to for those higher scores. Sadly years ago I traded the game in at a game store(not game stop though) when I switched over to Xbox which was great till the Xbox one and recently switched back to playstation. Besides this old gem I played other older gems such as Gauntlet dark legacy, Gauntlet Seven Sorrows, the classic Star Wars Battlefronts, even older and not well known games like 40 winks on the original playstation. I know a few I mentioned aren't car based but thought I'd mention because of them also being really great games, actually still play 2004 Star Wars Battlefront at times even now, very lovable game.
