Quite a few years ago, in first grade, I met a Moroccan boy named Salah. I was suffering a lot at the time because my parents had recently separated and I was diagnosed with mild mental problems. Now that I think about it, I understand that salah had been my lifeline. During the lessons or the tests we used to play not caring about the school, it just was me and him against everyone. However, at the end of elementary school he was rejected and I didn't. He changed school and I haven't seen him anymore since that. I have a whole list of songs that take you somewhere else and I used to send them to my friend one each day along with a description of what goes through my mind when I listen to it and how I felt and she loved it. It became a thing for us so it was like that each day, made life a little easier for us when we had rough patches. Wish we still did that though 😞

Quite a few years ago, in first grade, I met a Moroccan boy named Salah. I was suffering a lot at the time because my parents had recently separated and I was diagnosed with mild mental problems.
Now that I think about it, I understand that salah had been my lifeline.
During the lessons or the tests we used to play not caring about the school, it just was me and him against everyone. However, at the end of elementary school he was rejected and I didn't. He changed school and I haven't seen him anymore since that. I am now 16, and surely Salah has completely forgotten about me, but I didn't forget about him.
