During the intro, I was misting up. And I only kept hearing Neil Diamond singing 'It's the last flyyyy I'll ever tie fooor you...."
And so I can only pray that Coastfly still loves us.
"Whoaaa yes ah do!"
Oooh yes i doooo!
I know im randomly asking but does anyone know a tool to log back into an Instagram account??
I somehow lost my password. I would love any assistance you can give me.
@Gabriel Austin instablaster ;)
@Armani Ruben I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and im waiting for the hacking stuff atm.
Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
@Armani Ruben It did the trick and I now got access to my account again. I am so happy!
Thanks so much, you saved my ass!
Great looking fly
Nothing is better than having a beer while watching Your SbS-Tutorials every thursday evening. AND btw - I just ❤️ that SpeyZonker👍
Putte Flies Thanks a freaking lot man! 🍻
nice non toxic zonker!! and a nice video again!! thanks for sharing!! hope your next crib is cool like that one!!
Awesome Zonker!
In Indonesia, we usually use plastik rope to make fly tying for saltwater fish... And we had a lot strike... Peace
Really nice fly. Might try it with ostritch instead of marabou.
robin watts Could work! 😊
Lol "could" work. Yes because this totally random pattern might not work with another totally random material 👌👍
what hook is this?
I'm not at all experienced..... So I was wondering if the white strip I see is the zonjer strip?
That is correct. The white Strip you see is actually the hide from the rabbit from where it was cut. Normally you would have a piece og rabbit skin or hide and then you would cut it into strips like the one im using here. The one im using in the video is precut and put into a back for the end user to buy - if that makes sense? You can get whole hides or back woth precut strips varying from 2-8 mm roughly. Much easier woth the precut strips if you have no experience in cutting them youself. :-)
@@Coastfly I see... So if you were to use a felt marker to color it, say with a color that would blend it to the other colors, it could be less noticeable?
@@genesloan3175 Yes sir.. Keep in mind though that some markers can cause the skin to stiffen up a bit.. Ive had that happen a few times.. Maybe som kind of chemical reaction like when you get superglue on polyester it gets extremely hot. :-)
@@Coastfly yeah, I understand... And I'm probably over thinking the issue of camoflage of the strip. It's probably not what a fish would see as a red flag.
@@genesloan3175 it actually kinda looks like the spine of a semi transparent fish.. Kinda like the sticklebacks where i fish.. :-)
I absolutly love your videos. So well done and the instructions are great. I have a question for you, if you find the time. Do you generally use sinking/intermediate lines when fishing these unweighted streamers? Or do you add weight to the on some occations? Kind regards from Iceland
Thank you so much for your kind words! I´m blown away by the fact that my videos are being watched in one of my bucket list destinations! Thank for joining the members section as well! I always use intermediate lines. like 99% of the time. My theory of "a hungry fish will rise" has always worked for me. ;-)
Another question, sir...
You mentioned the Veevus thread... Did I hear 30 denier uni? I've been learning tying 210 denier flat waxed for panfish jig type lures. I would like to try using Clouser or streamer pattern using feux fur. It seems you have good strength using the 30.
the 30D from veevus will cut straight throgh the lead wire (non lead nowadays) some people tie in on the hook as weight if you pull hard enough.. Super thin as well...
@@Coastfly will try it out
Un saludo desde España 🍻👍
Can you tell the thread you use /
Veevus G02

Comment here to win the old cave? Free shipping Europe wide? 😁😎
Marc Pusch haha.. i would have no problem giving it away - but it does Belong to the new owner of our old House.. 😅
@@Coastfly he will probably put in some boring garden tools, no more cave :(
Hope you had a smooth move to the new house
Marc Pusch that is exactly what he’s done.. 😅 But tying Cave 2.0 might even be cooler.. im loving what ive done so far..
Remove that first dubbing loop /hackle and you have a nice looking baitfish.
I don't know why you keep licking it and wetting it 🤔🧐 You know flies look in the water like they look dry on the vise, right? Wetting your flies and thinking that is the finished product shows a poor understanding of fly fishing (and physics for that matter).
In other words, that mangled looking, pre-primping fly is what the fish will see. The only way they will see that slicked back look is if you use a scant amount of uv instead of spit, or you can use a spritz of hairspray and it will better hold that bait profile
FattyMateo Thanks for the lecture professor.
Music 🤦🤮
FattyMateo you know there is a mute Button right? Also you dont have to watch these videos if they put you in a bad mood. I sure hope youre only like this on the internet. Nobody likes an asshole you know. Speaking of mute Button - you do realise im sitting with all the controls of these commentaries right? Its very easy for me to just block you. That’s should help you on your mood when you dont get forced to watch my videos. 🙋🏼♂️
