Funny how everybody was talking mad sh×t about Spez buff. But Evasion is a thing in E7. So it basically just automatically put him in the mix as a viable hero.
yep. a lot of these older units have fine utils, fine damage, if they got a passive that contributes to their survival and they become instantly playable. Specter Tenebria is the biggest example of this. 1 rework to give her survival tool and she's dominated the game ever since.
Clearly should’ve spent my 50 summons on Sez last rotation, instead of dropping them on Donkey Kong Sharun, but considering I didn’t get her - probably wouldn’t have been meant to be either. Gives me time & reason to farm Destruction for the future though.

Everyone in the E7 TH-cam scene said the buff was mediocre or not enough. I played Spez since before it was cool. 50% evasion solved all of his problems because he couldn't take turns fast enough to not get debuffed and nuked in the ground.
funny thing, i got my spez from headhunt (yes I'm a fanboi and yes i ditched Briseria, Mellona etc), geared him pretty much like you showed it and then his buff got announced was scared i had to farm ls gear for even tho i wanted to brute force dmg (big numbers = good numbers) glad people got him on the radar again, i miss YDCB spamming spez tbh xD
Spez is my #1 most used unit since i got him few years ago, almost use him in every GW attack and normal Arena, now being able to use him in RTA...i've never been this excited
Fun fact, I pulled for Spez to try to get pity for fun and DIDN'T get him after 70 pulls. I feel like this is SGs way of trying to fuck with me for not getting him.

I dunno why ppl were crying that spez lost his elbris effect. For one, its very rng. U need to proc, u need to stun again to get big value. It'll end up being detrimental in most cases tbh in this meta. A 50% evasion is way more useful that that 20% elbris. Like one counter frm ayufine and your spez is likely attcked downed and does nothing without 50/70% evasion
I uss the same build on my C. Dom and now I see it on Spez. No wonder the damage was insane, I built my C.Dom to nuke almost anyone 😅 as long as she constantly gets her turn

Spez is now an evade character, so i'll get units that won't crit" (won't get a turn either) You really thought a unit that needs a 178k dest/pen gear, a +30 wind rider, a limited character+limited arti and a loli satan just to work is the winner of the patch? Even a tamarinne can be a nuker with this much setup. You're a negationist, can't get over the fact they just changed a flopped mechanic for another and needed to use all your brainpower to find a setup for him. They didn't gave him more damage, he already had that so this team would work regardless of evasion on him just because you can outspeed your opponent and ohko them before they get a turn. What did evasion do for him on this showcase again?

Even if he's a top E7 player, as you can see by your own video, you completelly demolished him without him having a chance to fight back like he was a bronze player. That says a lot about how the pvp in this game is that even a top 150 player looks like a clown if the enemy goes first, so ranks in this game don't really matter to me.
