Lived just west of Brickell as a kid in the 80’s. Saw the Miami Tower (CenTrust Tower), and Southeast Financial Center go up. It’s amazing how modern and vibrant this neighborhood has become. Side note: A small section of the Miami Tower caught fire when they were starting to construct the second section. We saw it burn from our house, about a mile away, as debris fell to the street below.
