I just purchased this last month and I have to say I absolutely love. It feels light and nimble and feels very strong at the same time. I’ve seen up to 25 mpgs so far. I really have high hopes for this truck
I always have to say one thing in this review: I'm definitely a fan of all chevrolet products especially this one. Also I really prayed that I will able to afford one of these pick-up trucks like this while I still can and I will get a chance to show this pick-up truck to my friends and family as well. Overall, fantastic job and review / test drive bro.
That was a thorough review, and you gave a balanced perspective on the engine choices. Looks like the 4-cylinder turbo is a solid choice for a lot of people.
Hello. I just bought this truck (LT 2FL Turbomax, 4x4, 7,000lbs) about 3 weeks ago, this car is beautiful, good, strong engine. I want to buy an RV but I don't know if this vehicle can tow an RV or not? If so, what is the maximum weight of an RV? Thanks.
Hey Will! My mom just yesterday purchased a 2022 Malibu in the Cherry Red tint and man this color is gorgeous! I’ll send u some pics on instagram if u want to see. On the Silverado, the new grille is fine but I think I agree that the GMC looks a little better. I’m not sure how I feel about this engine in a truck though. It does have some pretty impressive numbers for sure. If you can get past the stereotype most people will probably have I think you’d be pleasantly surprised. Also, the multi function tail gate is a must have.
Heck yeah send some pictures over! Probably my favorite color from GM they really killed it. The 2.7T certainly feels odd in a truck but if you spend a lot of time on job sites moving materials back and forth, or just need the truck running with A/c on frequently you’ll see that this motor is extremely more efficient. If you don’t spend a lot of time idling, the 5.3 just makes more sense since it feels stronger in the real world while getting about the same highway MPG. I also agree with the Tailgate but those bumper steps are also game changers when it comes to accessing the bed
Agreed man the tailgate would be worth the extra $600 but other than that, I’d probably keep the wheels, tires, and 4x4 and call it a day with a really nice truck around $52k!
These trucks were always over $50k since 2019. The difference is that dealers were discounting them between $5k to $10k not including incentives before the chip shortage.
Nice review bro. I'll definitely skip those huge wheels and get a center console to get more space and sportier drive. I really don't want nobody sitting that close to me, heck that's why I don't like midzie trucks for their narrow armrest. If I get one, I'll replace that grill with a custom one and remove all chrome.
I would think this thing will eat gas, because people will get addicted to putting their foot in the gas. I think I would lie the 8 because I could pull a trailer with skid steer. This 4 seems ok for hwy or comut

I'll let ya know, going from a 2016 to a 2022 this week.

Thanks man you get a lot for your money with this truck! Especially in the interior appreciate the comment as always!
Forgot to show the front middle seat bottom opens up to more storage!

The rear post holes on the rear by the tailgate are actually a place to put your hand when using the integrated bumper step.
Excellent review!! Wish they gave the option for bucket seats and a sunroof for the 2.7.
I would definitely get the turbocharged inline 4. May be a bit slower, but fast enough.

Check inside the door jam. There’s a sticker there that tells you towing capacity etc.

Picking up mine in about 2 hours! First truck, went with 2.7 and silver. Got it down to 45k.
Not bad man good luck with the truck!! 👍🏼
Hey where did you purchase your truck from and what was the original MSRP or out the door?
Did you get an LT for 45k? 2022?
You're right....this is a lot of truck for $51K. The multi functional tail gate would be nice but still a nice vehicle.
Agreed man the tailgate would be worth the extra $600 but other than that, I’d probably keep the wheels, tires, and 4x4 and call it a day with a really nice truck around $52k!
@@WTFCRLT1 Agreed...I don't need to pay $95K for seats that will keep my ass cool. 😄

Im a big fan of the Silverado
Thought you’re no longer Chevy Gang??
Sheesh, I got the Custom trim and actually got a sprayed bed-liner for $44k. Sucks that for $50k you don’t get it.
My $35k Mazda has auto up and down all windows, rain sensor wipers, leather heated/ventilated seats. I expect much more from a $50k vehicle.
I feel you bro but this is a crew cab full size truck. They are more expensive than SUV’s especially in the compact segment.
@@WTFCRLT1 mines a sedan. They can put all that in a sedan no reason it shouldn’t be in a truck. They’re profit margins are clearly artificially high.
Can your mazda sedan go off roading , tow 9000lbs , ton of room inside and can you put a fridge in the back ?
@@WTFCRLT1
Comparing a full size truck to a Mazda ?
Totally different vehicles!
Your Mazda can't pick up fat girls.

My car from 2014 which is a base model 20k car has blind spot monitoring .... for 50k ..... c'mon manufactures step up to the plate !
