Thank you for the lovely video. It took me back 30 years ago when I first made the trip up the tower with my girlfriend. You cracked me up when you mentioned that you need to be careful that you don't drop the camera. When we were making the trip up the tower, we were about 3/4 the way up when my girlfriend said "oooooooh shoot"!!!! I just dropped my earring. You could hear ting, ting, ting,,,. We figured it was lost for ever. As we made our way to the bottom of the tower. We spotted the earring on the ground and all ended well:))). Lol I'm glad you enjoyed you visit and once again. Great job on the video. Lots of beautiful scenery you captured and now share with many that would have never seen it other wise. Cheers😊
Thank you so much. What a beautiful spot Dirset is! So glad she found her earring!😅 It is quite the drop. I was going to joke with you that we found an earring until I read the end of your story!😆🥰
Im so glad you have shared this time with us. Hope the climbing didn't hurt your knee. Its been like a mini vacation with you.. just beautiful scenery. I miss the sheep but this has been good to see. My knee wouldn't let me get up to see the view so this is really nice for me. I love fall.
Glad you like them. I know they don't have sheep but we did go to Sorset!😆 Sheep will be back shortly. My knee has actually been great the whole time!🙂
Lynn and Arnie, those were some gorgeous views from the tower. I admire you for going all the way to the top. I wouldn’t have made it past the third platform, lol. I wonder if it was built as a lookout for forest rangers back in the day when they used towers to watch for fires? 🍁 Dorset is a lovely little town, and the roads around it are so beautiful with the trees making a canopy in places. 🍂
Thanks for another great video. I’m afraid of heights and when you and Arnie went up that tower it made me feel nervous for both of you. I’m glad you showed us the great views. 😊😊😊
This has been my favorite location of all your excursions!!! From the gorgeous views to the quirky little shop and Arnie getting pizza for lunch with a Dad's root beer!!! Thanks so much for bringing us along!!! Were you getting a little homesick at this point in your trip? Stay safe!!!
Good evening Arnie and Lynn or should I say Prince Charming and Cinderella. Wow what a fight of stairs that was to get to the top of the tower but what a magnificent view from the top. The colors are awesome and you two are quite cute might I say. Did Arnie count those steps. I think it must have been a lot. The trees look like a bouquet of fall colored flowers. The Quaker Oats was was quite nostalgic looking. A mom and pop operation. Lovely. What great excursion today. Thank you for sharing your travels. Big big hugs to you both. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰😉😉
WOW ! Thanks for taking us along . So beautiful!! That is definitely a climb down I don't think I could do. I would be Holding both sides and probably sitting on my butt scooting down those stairs. LOL. I get Vertigo going down solid stairs. My what a gorgeous area that is though.❤ thanks again. :)
Who perfect timing on the tower climb… gorgeous views. Loved Arnies comment half way up, I wonder how safe this tower is? The park is amazing! Thank you for sharing another vacation day with us!
What a beautiful view from up there! Hats off to you two climbing up that, I couldn't do that, I felt dizzy watching! Hope your having a great time, I am certainly enjoying the vlogs, thank you for having us along again xx💕💕💕💕
@@EwetopiaFarms I bet! I was the same coming down from Ben Nevis, sat on my bottom for some of the steep parts, that was when I was younger too! Ive no head for heights! take care both of you xx💕💕💕💕
What a fun idea for Dorset breeders to visit the town of "Dorset." Your video makes me want to visit there. I have been all over western Canada including the Yukon but I have never been east of Thunder Bay. (I remember Gumby and Pokey too 🤫)
Yes, I wonder how many people remember them?! I did right away 😁 Western Canada and the Yukon are spectacular too. If you are in Ontario though, Algonquin Park is probably a place you shouldn't miss 🙂
I see several folks have already asked about your knee, Lynn. It seems to be holding up really well. So I'll focus my comment on the one burning question on my mind: How on Earth did you NOT spend hundreds of dollars in that quaint little store? I would have bankrupted myself for sure.

The statue outside of Quaker Oats Farm was of Betty Boop.
Yes, it was. He takes her in every night!😆
That’s such a perfect fall town
Good morning! 🌹🌹🌹
Happy Thanksgiving to you both!❤❤❤❤
Thanks!

I too wondered if it was a fire watch tower. No Ranger Gord though.
@@KS-ip5xn😂
We are thinking it must have been a forest ranger tower because of the perfect location for seeing signs of smoke for miles around.
A day late but what an amazing view from the top of the tower!
It was so nice!

Going up was actually easy but coming down was a little nerve wracking!😆

Yes, so far this was my favorite spot on the trip too. Extremely beautiful! Homesick? Not yet!😆

He actually forgot to count the stairs! He usually does but I think the views were distracting him this time!😆 🥰🥰🥰🥰

Yes, the down was way worse than the up but the views were worth it. I get vertigo too which doesn't help matters 😆

Thank you Deborah! It actually wasn't too bad although I did get the willies a few times on the way down!😆

@@deborahclarke8107Ben Nevis must have been much taller. Lucky you! Beautiful spot! I love it there!!
Fantastic views from the tower. Lynn, how are your knees after the climb?
Great! I couldn't believe it! No problems at all!🙂
Great views from the top of the tower! I think it was built on the site of a former fire lookout tower.
Yes, I think so

Wasn't that awesome! I was shocked as soon as I opened the door!😁
