This is built for athletes 45lt large gym backpack, I purchased it 9 months ago and have used it every days since, this is my honest review and throughs on the bag - to I hope help you figure out if this might be the right bag for you.
built for athletes bag size and build quality 0:19 So diving straight to the size and build quality of the bag. For what a pretty light weight bag coming in at 2.5kg, you can fit a heck of lot in this bag.
Each of the bag compartments have zips that run the complete length of bag, making it easy to the most of all that space when packing and see what is where when out and about.
The main and largest compartments at the rear of the bag has a padded laptop sleave, which can carry up to a 17.2 inch device. On the opposite side of this compartment are two internal mesh pockets the lower is elasticated and provide a devide for anything you might want to separate from thebest of the main compartment. The 2nd upper meshed pocked has a zip running along the top of the inner of the bag, giving you a secure inner pocked for any valuables you might be carrying. Either side of the central compartments you’ve got two good size drinks or bottle holders, equally these can fit and hold a protein shake container.
In front of the main conpartments you’ve got secondary full length compartments, this has a good depth to it at around 8 cm, this can comfortable fit a 2nd pair of shoes or a full change of clothes. This pocket always surprises me with just how much you can fit in it.
The two front compartments of the bag and the most easily accessible pockets and where I tend to put the things I need to access the most frequency and easily. The top pocket is ideal for phone and keys, headphones or other small accessories and the lower pocket works for bigger items, like a lunch box, snacks books or charging cables.
It’s a comfy bag to wear, it’s a good amount of padding in the should straps and rear section of the back that sit on your back. If you had packed the bag full, then all the pull straps allow you to hand or attach bits.
The Velcro patch area is a nice addition and you buy and add your own custom patches.
2:28 as a gym bag
My primary use day to day for this bag has been to carry to and from the gym, all the various things I want to have with me while training.
It’s done that job really well, from being able to comfortable fit two pairs of size 12 shoes, for those session you might be doing a mixture of lifting and running and want different shoes of each. The various compartments are useful for dividing up and making specific bits of kit easily accessible, rather than all being in the same central compartment and spending time rummaging for what you are after.
I’ve tended to use the large front compartments for my gym accessories so resistance bands, skipping ropes, sweats band, tape, that types of thing.
It is quite easy to open up and repack, so if post training session I’ve maybe had a swim, got a few bits of kit that is sweaty and separate they from the rest of the bag contents in one of these compartments which is helpful.
I also train outside quite a lot and use this bag when traveling to film the follow along kettlebell and dumbbell workouts you’ll see on this channel. For that the bags been great and held up well including is pretty wet and sandy locations. There’s plenty of room for workout clothes, tripod, camera, towel and anything else you might need.
3:38 Using when competing in hyrox athx, turf games If you are someone who completes in events like HYROX, ATHX, Turf Games or similar this bag is great for those days out when similar to the gym have those bits and pieces and food and drink to hand is essentials and you’ve got plenty room for it all.
Overall 9 months in to owning this bag, I’m impressed with its build quality, I’ve put this bag through a lot and looking good,
