YIKES!! AN APB ANNOUNCEMENT! For some reason, I said "Walk This Way" rather than "Walk On By" when I was talking about The Stranglers' "Rarities" album. MY BAD!!!!

Lovely tour of Berlin 😊 I was in the tv tower just before they closed it to remove all the DDR estetics.
    You are a travel savant!
Oooh, Crowded House vinyl! I never find any at humane prices 😢
    Awesome movie posters!
Thank you for showing us your Berlin sojourn!
    Cheers from Morten 😊

When I saw the Crowded House lps, I actually thought of you Morten! haha. There are just so many albums I'd like to pick up but it would have been impossible. Memphis Slim, Iron and Wine, Psychedelic Furs, Style Council, Crowded House and so many other albums. Thanks so much for stopping by to watch.

@@retromusings I fiiinally got the last Style Council I was missing! My discogs order had been delivered to someone renting my place and rested against a door and stood there in Denmark for 3 months before my friends borowing my house spotted it! I, and most Danes, not fans of Post Nord (You are not supposed to deliver stuff to people who can’t identify themselves as the receiver, but what the hey…). So now I can start collecting Paul Weller on vinyl! 😄
So nice you thought about me. Seems you got some amazing stuff 😊
I found a winner to my contest. Norwegian prog heading to a small town on… Hudson Bay! Hope it gets there ok 😊

vinyl-a-gogo is one of the best in that area, but you were very close to a handful even better ones - such a near miss :)

Just so many fab record shops everywhere. I hope to get to Kreuzberg and check out all the record shops there the next time I'm in Berlin. Many thanks for stopping by and watching.

When you are in São Paulo, visit praça Benedito Calixto on Saturdays in the Pinheiros neighborhood. You will love it!

Are you still in Berlin? Did you move there? Weather looks pleasant enough to swim in Wannsee....
Funny I spotted a couple of Ted Nugent records, haha!
Maybe you've seen the movie "Berlin, I Love You" starring Helen Mirren and Kira Knightly.
Multiple stories throughout similar to "Paris, je t'aime" and "New York, I Love You" previously made.
And always a beer garden in that part of the world, cheers!

I live in the UK and luckily have friends in Berlin. There are so many wonderful record shops with great inventory. If truth be told, it's overwhelming. Prices are so reasonable for good quality 2nd hand records compared with the UK in my view. And yes, always wonderful to visit a beer garden! Many thanks for stopping by and watching.

I wonder if the employee of the record store actually knew the Grateful Dead's music, or did he just own the t-shirt. I ask because I've always been curious if Europeans appreciate the long-format "jam" band style music. For some reason jam bands haven't caught on outside the US.

That's a very interesting question and certainly does make you wonder. Many thanks for stopping by and watching.

Did you grab those new wave records from The Housemartins, China Crisis, The Mission, Modern English, Crowded House, Art of Noise, Ultravox, and The Psy Furs?

Hi there. No I didn't because I have those records already. But I did see so many others I wanted. It was just too overwhelming and I physically wouldn't be able to take so many back to the UK. I hope to visit again and visit these places on my own so my friends don't get bored while I browse. Many thanks for stopping by and watching.

I wonder what they think of the band name ‘Joy Division’ in modern Germany

Good question! I'm afraid I don't have any idea. All the same, thanks for stopping by and watching.

Enjoyed this video very much. I can't pass a record store without stopping in. It's impossible.
