This song Is bitter sweet for me I remember singing this song over and over for God to heal my marriage I was so broken that was about 5 years ago. We stayed together and Married even though he was manipulative emotionally abusive and at times physically abusive.He left me whenever he felt like then he would want me back. HE cheated on me repeatedly. The Divorce will be finalized this January. I believe that God is going to restore and give me back everything I'v lost Tenfold. I have been on a emotional roller coaster for 11 years his highs and lows were a living Hell. I pray for his salvation because God is not a respector of person and I know God loves Him just as much as he loves me. I also know God sees my pain and and my loyalty to that vow. Every step I take I see Gods provision and protection. I'm still in the waiting but I will not give up I will speak to my soul and watch my triumph unfold. God didn't heal my marriage he gave me so much more he set me free.

This is what God has been speaking into my soul this past week. The richest place to be is in the quiet; in the waiting. When I turn off the noise, the distraction, and wait... It's there I meet with God. It's there I rest and find peace, joy, and purpose. He provides, he strengthens, he speaks, he leads. It's there I realize He's all I need, and want. And there I find peace; despite all of life's circumstances.
I was just thinking about how the group on the stage looks like an army fighting for everyone who is off the stage. And they're family. They do life together- each and every one of them from the cellist to the drummer. It's just so wonderful and authentic :)

Honestly, this is so beautiful. My heart cries out the words to this song. I'm in the midst of a very hard time within myself. Constant anxiety and a deeply hurting heart. I feel like I am going to burst out of myself some days. It's such a hard place to be when you're crying out to God for peace and comfort and you feel nothing. Please pray for my dear friend who was recently drafted into the military without any warning or notice. He had to drop everything including his job, his family, his life to serve the army for the next 18 months of his life. He is not allowed internet, phones or leaving the compound where he is posted. I am at a shock myself because we were so close and to not be able to see him for the next 18 months is difficult for me to swallow. He says that he is struggling with much oppression both mentally and spiritually as most of the military personnel are Buddhists or Atheists. I pray that if this is Gods will that He will have His way but allow my friend the strength and courage to persevere through these next few months strong and stern in the Lord.
