Completely agree. This part of the adventure didn't have any real PvP (next part will) but being so close to death and overcoming it made it worth editing for me

@@nutbastard yep! I met someone in vybor once, a couple years ago. We were both running from a bear, both of us had flashing blood and kept passing out. After we took down the bear and got our Heath sorted we went on a 3 hour adventure. Still play with him to this day!
@@phillipgarst902 And despite this kind of magic, I still can't get any of my gamer friends to commit to the steep learning curve of the game. I have a huge library of games and DayZ is pretty much all I play these days. When it's good, nothing compares.

@@phillipgarst902 PC master race baby, unfortunately. And yeah screw those people. The game isn't boring, it's just not nonstop action out of the gate. It's slow paced until it very suddenly isn't. It's more of a thinking game most of the time. Gratification is not instant. I think a lot of people are conditioned to expect their character in every game to be inexplicably OP from the get go. Personally, I find non-stop shooters like Borderlands to be boring. It's one-note. Proceed in a straight line, shoot anything that moves, over and over and over again. There's no nuance to it, and what story there is is pre-scripted. In DayZ you make your own story. Everyone starts off as a helpless freshie, and every story ends in death. It's what happens in between that matters. I see a lot of new players complaining about dying. But dying isn't losing, because there is no winning DayZ. Dying is just as much the start of a new adventure as it is the end of the old one.
Moby, you were awesome for not KOS... see what lovely fun you can have when being friendly. It only takes 765 times to find that one cool guy that doesnt kill you before you can the full friendly word out of your mouth lpl
If you want to try a hard-core survival server, try ExileZ. They are using a new mod called syberia which adds rpg style skill systems and a very complicated medical system(sanity,sepsis,bullet wounds, etc). They also have AI, missions, keys, and custom toxic zones. Loot isn't the hardest to find, its more a matter of finding what you need in time.
