Hi John, my son is aiming towards doing the M8 Ccea exam and I was just wondering if he follows along with these 100-day revision plan will it be time well spent towards that exam or does this cater more for the M1 to m4 ? Already purchased the 100 day revision booklet and some of higher 5 a day books
Hi! If preparing for M8, I would recommend looking at the M6, M7 and M8 checklists here: corbettmaths.com/2022/09/21/ccea-revision/ There are also ultimate revision videos for all those modules, as well as practice papers on the website. Then using the Checklists for M6, M7 and M8, I would identify the useful revision sessions covered in the 100 Days Revision Books and focus on them. Also the Higher 5-a-day books will be useful as well. I hope that helps!
Hi i am really struggling with circle theorems and i was wondering if you had any tips i got a 6 in the mock and i am realistically aiming for a 7 but would love to have an 8 over all, will the 10 minutes a day be enough what should i do to go from a 6 to an 8🤍
With hard work and determination, I firmly believe that you can progress from a 6 to a 7/8. There's quite a few things that I would recommend. This video might be useful: th-cam.com/video/QEPMaVBF-wo/w-d-xo.html and in terms of Circle Theorems, there's loads of resources on Corbettmaths that will help - video tutorials, practice questions, textbook exercises etc. You will want to be meticulous with your preparation between now and the exams. Beyond watching these videos, I would also recommend (apologies, a long list): Working hard in lessons and with your homework; availing of any revision sessions in school; using the Corbettmaths checklists to identify strengths and weaknesses; target those weaknesses by using Corbettmaths tutorials/questions; LOADS of past papers; asking your teacher for help on topics you find tricky; Corbettmaths revision cards; 5-a-days. Put in your all between now and the exams and you'll know that you've done your very best (and hopefully you get that grade 8!!!) The video above will be useful.
