I know this is soooo late, but I really want to clear up any misunderstandings about stroke victims. For starters most of the beginning of the song is referencing his addiction to television as a child. Like "For your electric paradisio after the parent crashes". Meaning he would wait until his parent/parents went to sleep, and sneak out and watch t.v. Also " Social retardation larvey plugged into the wall" and " The little short circuit with the still born vibe" is likely describing the almost zombie-like appearance sitting in front of the t.v. for hours might give off to a parent. Lines like these could have understandably suggested a stroke victim, I suppose. And to address the part about stealing meds from the aforementioned stroke victim. I cant find any lines in this particular song to dispute that, but just from my familiarity with his other works, I can say that this is probably talking about his social/mental disorders as a teen. He was likely prescribed antidepressants and other mood regulating drugs, and is just poking fun at the idea of it. Hes also well known for drug use in his songs. As for " Left hand numb from the finger to the thumb" this might just be referring to hand cramps while writing( that is if aes is left handed). I doubt this will ever reach you, but if it does, feel free to disagree. I genuinely love geeking-out over Aesop Rock, and would be happy talk about him with anyone.

This song actually does sound like it's somebody recovering from a stroke. Awesome observation. Pockets like maracas is definitely a reference to the rattle of pill bottles in your pockets too. Track is just crazy dope
I know this is soooo late, but I really want to clear up any misunderstandings about stroke victims. For starters most of the beginning of the song is referencing his addiction to television as a child.
Like "For your electric paradisio after the parent crashes". Meaning he would wait until his parent/parents went to sleep, and sneak out and watch t.v. Also " Social retardation larvey plugged into the wall" and " The little short circuit with the still born vibe" is likely describing the almost zombie-like appearance sitting in front of the t.v. for hours might give off to a parent. Lines like these could have understandably suggested a stroke victim, I suppose.
And to address the part about stealing meds from the aforementioned stroke victim. I cant find any lines in this particular song to dispute that, but just from my familiarity with his other works, I can say that this is probably talking about his social/mental disorders as a teen. He was likely prescribed antidepressants and other mood regulating drugs, and is just poking fun at the idea of it. Hes also well known for drug use in his songs.
As for " Left hand numb from the finger to the thumb" this might just be referring to hand cramps while writing( that is if aes is left handed).
I doubt this will ever reach you, but if it does, feel free to disagree. I genuinely love geeking-out over Aesop Rock, and would be happy talk about him with anyone.

On the original release, he released just the lyrics to this song in the book, without the track. The newer versions have the song, but not the lyric book.

How ever look at the orphanage with Sage, Slug, Aesop Rock, Blue Print, and Illogic and any of his other free styles or battles with him destroying people on the same tier as Sage or Dose.
