The state I live in was number four in more people moving out than in but the population continued to grow. The actual amount of people moving in or out in a given year isn't all that much being usually a few thousand either way but nowhere near a really large number plus or minus. The real concern is for the nation as a whole as it is estimated by 2050 there will be fewer people born than dying leading to a nationwide population decline. Naturally, things can always change.
Maybe that's why our federal government has implemented an open border policy. The latinos are predominantly Catholic and do not believe in contraception or abortion
Ha ha! In your face Briggs. I set the New Mexico trend. Moved here in 2021 and owned my home here since 2016. Screaming deal here in the Sandia Foothills.
Traffic in MT is hellacious! Not only are major roads within city limits not maintained, to the point you are sliding through intersections, trying not to hit cars ahead of you or be careened into, because they don’t sand and plow properly, but the roads are deadly everywhere, from the highways to the mountain roads. Crosses denoting deadly car accidents, line roadways. Every Spring, Summer, and into late fall, much construction takes place. It congests major roadways for hours upon hours. Sometimes, it takes an hour to go 5-7 miles! No joke. It’s AGONIZING to commute to work and as cost of housing is so outrageous, people must commute really far for low paying service industry jobs (as they cater to tourists in MT.) and good luck with with the negative-40 degree temperatures that kill your car!
I think with more people working from Home now, this will be the new trend. More people are going to start flocking to the cheaper cost of living area and still get pay the same amount as if they're in California. some may even move out of the U.S. completely for cheaper way of life since a lot of jobs are virtual now.
Well as a Nurse or Dr I still need to live where my hospital is, and go put in person 12 hr shifts. So many in person jobs won't vanish. As peop,e fly away to remote work, the migrants flood in to live in the cities, not necessarily renting or buying.

I am stunned that Tennessee was not on the list; Texas slowing down is not a huge surprise, starting to get pricey. I believe that most people moving to Florida are looking at the greater Tampa region, particularly east of I-75, where rent and homes are less expensive. Also, Jacksonville is slowly creeping westward as development booms. I am keeping the panhandle a secret - very inexpensive.
It never ceases to amaze me how people disregard climate and weather changes . . . Next time you make a video about best/worse states to move to, how about looking at natural disasters like drought, floods, ice storms, earthquakes, volcanoes, tornadoes, hurricanes, etc.
Sorry CA people have driven up home prices which naturally raises property taxes ( since texas has no state income tax😢😢😢😢). Their politics have personally, socially changed TX too.😢
Georgia rarely showing up in your vids, or as i can remember. I just love to know more about Georgia 😁 (i'm not an US citizen..) But i wonder if it's because they usually lands in the middle of the stats?
I moved to Louisiana from Idaho in 2022. Today I moved to Galveston Texas. We shall see how it goes. Gulfshores, Orange Beach and Foley Alabma would be the best place to live. Maybe Ill see a Briggs sighting when he's in town in a few weeks.
Hey there, love your vids, but I'm tired of hearing how Washington is an income tax free state and that being a positive. So it's not... We now have the "WA Cares Fund" that just started as a mandatory payroll deduction, we have the highest gas tax (therefore prices) outside of Hawaii and sales taxes are exceedingly high in many areas. Also, I live in Spokane and it's in no reality affordable, and hasn't been for 3-5 years now. Sure, it's cheaper than Seattle, but it's not at all the affordable city people think it is.
Washington's other taxes easily make up for no income tax (for now). We left Washington (seattle) last year, and the property taxes are sky high in King County. As you stated, the sales, gas, long-term care, etc. are very high as well.
One thing I’ve heard about Albuquerque that its expansion outward has been very limited because of federal lands that surround it! I’m not sure if it’s a fact but makes it seem kinda nice because it won’t become some sort of mega city as Houston or Dallas/Fort Worth areas of Texas
As a Floridian I can tell you that teachers and nurses are fleeing Florida in droves. Florida is 48th in teacher pay and the politics are unfriendly to the profession. Just google 'teachers leaving Florida' and you'll see all the stats you need.
Folks in Montana say it's due to that show "Yellowstone " as to why ppl are moving there. But i think theyre forgetting it in addition to natural beauty, there's also water & recreational marijuana.
Streaming isn't dying, it's simply evolving into something different. Once the shake up is done, things should settle down and the survivors will stay on.

And towns in rural West Virginia.
Detroit! Oh wait, you wrote "best" places. Nevermind.
I had actually looked into the Vancouver, Washington area at one time in order to make a fresh start in life.
I’ve been hearing that property tax and homeowners insurance are going thru the roof in Florida. But maybe it depends on where you are.
Living in Massachusetts and the country of Jordan part time I appreciate these videos. Shall I give up Massachusetts for Maine. Or NH. Or even Vermont. The NE area is the best weather-wise for me. Love the snow and cold and the lesser amount of weeks that have hot and humid weather.
ME, VT are NH is not that great. Lots of addicts and criminals vs prosperity and opportunity.
Would move to Utah. Idaho. Many nice places, not much crime, good skying on winter. And that heat on the east making you crazy
Heat in the east? Utah is a damn desert
@@seanstansbury5585 desert heat feels quite a bit different from high humidity heat.
@@seanstansbury5585 It is on the south, but is dry. Besides not many people live there. Now is so beautiful the mountains on the desert. Was driving across the States and left Vegas very early still a bit dark. By sunrise was already in Utah driving thru these red blocks. Had to stop driving get the coffee, my wife and I sad on the side of the road . We sat there looking that colors and shapes for over half hour. Go north to Salt Lake city, there is many real green mountains, and rivers. Together with Colorado you will find the best sky in the country. Yes did you ever spend sometime during summer over N York, Jersey,Maryland. DC? Never go see what hot and moisture feels like
Be careful what part of Idaho. East Idaho is mega Mormon, wind and brutally cold winters. Boise is much more mild.
Weird places.
Briggs can you make more videos about Tennessee and the surrounding areas please?
Why? It's unaffordable now thanks to the blue state invasion
I was surprised OK was not on this list.
I am surprised that South Carolina is not on this list.
Maine is popular with Massachusetters moving there during the pandemic. Now many are leaving since it is colder and the job market is terrible.
Could you make a video on New Hampshire?
The thought of moving to Maine sounds interesting, until I remember it’s the setting of most Stephen King novels 😮😊
Exactly
And cold...
😊
Thanks again for another well done , smart, Cool video!
Been a fan I'm sure I'll stay a fan and why not?
You seem cool bro and you rock the Mike!
Eric. F From the 5280 *Denver but your smart I bet you knew that, 😊
Two minutes in and my money's on Illinois NOT making the list. Pay up. I got Zelle.
No one would take that bet
I am stunned that Tennessee was not on the list; Texas slowing down is not a huge surprise, starting to get pricey. I believe that most people moving to Florida are looking at the greater Tampa region, particularly east of I-75, where rent and homes are less expensive. Also, Jacksonville is slowly creeping westward as development booms. I am keeping the panhandle a secret - very inexpensive.
On the U-Haul list recently published, TN is #5.
It never ceases to amaze me how people disregard climate and weather changes . . . Next time you make a video about best/worse states to move to, how about looking at natural disasters like drought, floods, ice storms, earthquakes, volcanoes, tornadoes, hurricanes, etc.
This episode was a beautiful odyssey.
That’s funny, just moved to Maine from Florida
Sorry CA people have driven up home prices which naturally raises property taxes ( since texas has no state income tax😢😢😢😢). Their politics have personally, socially changed TX too.😢
Yup, Californians are welcome here in Texas as long as they leave their libtard politics behind. Don't believe me? Look at Austin.
Yeah my husband and I are teachers and trans we are moving to Texas with our non binary kids next week.
@@dabbking You are certainly welcome to do that but do not expect any special treatment from people in Texas.
@dabbking I hope you're moving to Austin. I live in DFW metro and you would not find it easy to be accepted here.
@@dabbking😂 way to make 'em squirm.
Georgia rarely showing up in your vids, or as i can remember. I just love to know more about Georgia 😁 (i'm not an US citizen..) But i wonder if it's because they usually lands in the middle of the stats?
GREETINGS FROM THE PPRC GREAT VIDEO. IT LOOKS LIKE WASHINGTON OUT OF THIS GROUP.🇺🇸🍺🍺
Moving to DC you are crazy
the great cesspool of Washington District of Corruption...no thanks
Montana a beautiful place to live? Yeah, from May to October. Landscape turn all white after that!
I'm a part of the percentage that left Florida for Georgia's lower home prices
I moved out of Texas 3 years an I'm about to move back
I saw tshirt once that, said
Vancouver, not BC
Washington, not DC
Seems to me that gross #’s of moves of "in" vs "out" would be more valid than percentages. 🤔
Chama New Mexico is an awesome mountain town, too bad it’s too far to a large airport if any!
Bro flexing in the thumbnail. --- looking good brother :D
My top states would be
1. Oregon
2. Montana
3. Washinton
4. Utah
5. South Dakota
Oregonians are moving southern states. Lol. While southerners are relocating to the western states
@@KristNi I'm from WV idk if that makes me southern or not
i love montana andnorth carolina beautiful states and newhampshire
Californians should just move to New Mexico. It already sucks so they can't mess it up too much.
@@moreayf2319 Ruidosa NM is nice!
Greg Biffle is from Vancouver, WA
The only reason I could think someone would want to move to a crime ridden place like Washington DC is because they are a criminal themselves
😂😂😂
I'd love to move to Maine, but my family is in MD and I'm currently in GA for my partner's job while I work remote.
Wonderful video 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I moved to Louisiana from Idaho in 2022. Today I moved to Galveston Texas. We shall see how it goes. Gulfshores, Orange Beach and Foley Alabma would be the best place to live. Maybe Ill see a Briggs sighting when he's in town in a few weeks.
Just be careful of the hurricane in Galveston
Briggs showing off those guns in the thumbnail. 💪
Do a list on the states that are dying.
All of them actually
Vancouver (not Canada), Clark County (not Nevada), Washington (not D.C.)
Don't Californicate Texas.
How do you figure Texas is one of the best states for education?
One thing I’ve heard about Albuquerque that its expansion outward has been very limited because of federal lands that surround it! I’m not sure if it’s a fact but makes it seem kinda nice because it won’t become some sort of mega city as Houston or Dallas/Fort Worth areas of Texas
I'm surpirsed it hasn't gone vertical. Very few skyscrapers in Albuquerque compared with other cities it's size.
Montana is nice one cool town is Polson montana on flathead lake it's beautiful and it's a huge lake. New Mexico is under rated in terms of beauty.
You say teachers are moving out of Florida? Can you point me to the statistics of that?
As a Floridian I can tell you that teachers and nurses are fleeing Florida in droves. Florida is 48th in teacher pay and the politics are unfriendly to the profession. Just google 'teachers leaving Florida' and you'll see all the stats you need.
I actually think new mexico might be one of the best states to move to since I have looked at arkansas oklahoma, texas and arizona.
Just be aware the sky high per capita crime rates. It's hard to enjoy life when you're dead.
I’m moved from high ass Colorado to Virginia . I work from home and it’s whole lot cheaper.
White flight!
Gen Z moving to Florida? Must be with their parents because none of them work.
😂
How can they work ? Can't put their phones down.
Briggs voice is nice. Really nice, sounds kinda positive. And clear diction. I'm surprised no one else mentions it.
I bet most recent graduates moving to a first job don’t use moving companies.
New Hampshire is a great state!! Nashua, easy access to Boston!
