Mind you 2 governments have replaced the 2018 legit gov in malaysia. The general election is near and coming soon. A great number of malaysians felt that the original mandate should have been allowed but ministers jump parties to create 2 new gov during covid19. They were not the original gov that won the election in 2018. This current PM and gov is more racist and nationalistic than all previous gov that i know. Even going to UN recently, he prefers using malay which was never done before. Some malay folks will feel proud of that but i doubt others like foreigners and investors are happy. Non-malays too. Under performer pm. That mm2h issue started with this cabinet.

@@NomadElite the king and several sultans (at least 2 from perak and selangor state) hv mentioned many times against corruption and the rule of law. And that judges must be respected. Pardon will not be at whim and fancy of the jailed person. This was mentioned by these 3 powerful rulers. Btw the current king is from pahang state (from which najib came from). No indication of any pardon taking place. The people against pardom has sent a memo to the king objecting to the pardon, while najib supporters also did so but with smaller amount of signatures compared to ngo and civil societies.

Hey bro, UAE (Dubai) didn’t “lure people in” with 0 taxes then changed the rules. They did it to improve relations with Europe and the US, and to not be blacklisted as a tax free country.
The 9% will apply only to companies who sell in the UAE, not companies that sell abroad, which is most companies.
I push Dubai a lot as the best place for taxes but I also say it shouldn’t be your only option. You never know when they change the rules again.

    • @NomadElite
      @NomadElite  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

It doesn't harm to have a second passport or residency. Let's say you ended up in Vietnam and made it your main place to be. In the event that you earn your money online, it'd make sense to have a company set up in a different country where you pay less in corporate taxes than you would in Vietnam. Some are fortunate enough to have a found a place that ticks most of the boxes and don't want to diversify at all. That's also fine.

Going into a jurisidiction where you pay 0% corporate tax is mostly only relevant to those with a high income. You are so right about Asia That most countries here just want foreigbers money and then dont care and give so small rights ,that its not worth it!
Yes, Norway are expencive but so many rights. Foreigners there, are allowed to protest political and financial.
Any foreigner working in Norway, have same right to protest to get higher salary.
As for now, many teachers are out of work to protest.
Everyone can own land, open bank accounts.
Therese is many different visa program Spouse visa, finance visa,
Work visa, student Visa. Those are mainly for citizens outside Europe.
Citizens inside Europe, dont need visa to settle down, work or study in Norway
Non Europeans who are granted spouse, work , finance. Visa, can extend it there and fall for permanent residence after 3tears. If granted permanent residence you have the right to non employed Benefit, so ial security, free education free hospital, benefit as single mom and child support,
After 5 to 7 years, can apply for citizenship and dual. There are usually 7years for citizen from 3th word Countries.
Norwegian passport, senior pensjon,m even if never worked , disable pensjon etc.
When i compare this to The Philippines, even Filipino Citizens have less rights in their own Country compare to foreigbers in Norway.
Example, protest against salary or goverment here, can give jail sentence . Thats people here ,just accept it as it is.
Still some from West say its more freedom here
I would rather say, here you are nothing, no matter if its by officials or by the citizens.
You even have to pay the police to do their job.
Thats why example girls have been sexual insulted /offended , dont report it because no investigation unless they pay the police to investigate .
I was down to police station, because a drink Filipino pushed my big motorbike .
There where witness who gave me nane on that person and even i gave police nane on the guilty one, the police did nothing! My bike had damages i paid 8k pesos..

      1. Cold winter
      2. General high Cost of living.
Despite this, many go there for work both for season and full time and tourists coming at winter as well for those who like to try winter activities .
For those outside Europe , ger a sengen visa, that allows you to travel free around in most European countries.
Norway have land border with Russia, Finland and Sweden.
Because of the war, Finland and Sweden, is good option just to go big shopping , where there are 40% cheaper compare to Norway.
Norway do have several ferries to Danmark and from there , you can drive to almost all European countries. So if you want to have more heat when winter in Norway, countries as. Greece, Italy, Spain and Portugal, are good options then ..
Even Norway is a high cost country, many from other European countries go there to settle down for unike benefits and high salaries .
That is something many forget when talking about high/low cost of living.
      That is incone.
See here in The Philippines, its cheap for most of us from the west, but very expencive to locals . Thats becsuse incone is so low as $220 USD a normal monthly incone, while according to cost of living,is
      About $850 USD.

Poverty, prostitution, non educated people here, while in Norway, there is more jobs than people, free education, free hospital, they even give money when woman give birth, just to try increase population. You can also apply financial support if want to start own Business.
