@devwiped4983 lol deflects take more skill to pull off that parries and definitely take more skill than hyper armor. There's no reason deflects shouldn't cancel hyper armor

Did you know that when you parry with gladiator you can press square or whatever you have GB bottom with?! It is a good technique to hit a heavy attack after a heavy attack is perried!
Utilize his thrusts both in deflects and with the unblockable ones. Also mix it up with feints frequently. People get nervous when deciding to parry or dodge an unblockable attack and thats why his feint into gbs are so strong. Take advantage of ur zone attack and the jumping top light cause they are both hard to react to if u aren’t being predictable. Also watching how good glad players use him(like misty) will help a ton. Since King Misty is discussing a possible 11-year-old giving him trouble, I've told a story (not the best one, admittedly) for years about a completely random kid that joined a group of ours for dominion in maybe 2019, and we called him a squeaker - this kid was 9 years old and had just coincidentally crushed me in a random 1v1 with his warden and the kid was incredibly good at the game by any standards. It was at that moment, I knew that watching kids who are essentially born into this type of game is something special to behold and it's pretty great to see young kids exhibit such skill - I don't care if it's a game or not, if you put in the time and practice and have some aptitude you can be exceptional at something. Also another reason that I don't promote 'random' toxicity, because you might end up venting frustration on some kid who is just trying to play a game. Don't want to be saying negative stuff to some kid, that's not the type of energy I'm looking to put out there. GGs everyone, have a great day!

It stops their stamina recovery too! Very good for agressive opponents.
It drains a lot of stamina and stuns them but the follow up isn't guaranteed. It does let you start a mix up.
