I mean, it brings on all the tears, because it's not The Last of Us if we're not destroyed, but it's an important one. ❤
Im not gonna lie, I wasnt the biggest Joel fan in the game. He was VERY cold and detached (for obvious reasons) but in this series they have done so much to humanize him its amazing.
Ellie is Joel’s daughter without a doubt after all of that this episode was so good I love Riley 😭❤️like this was so damn adorable very very much great episode 😭❤️😊

11:30 Honestly, thank you. So many reactors acting like FEDRA is the only game in town as though we haven't seen the Jackson commune last episode. Every character we've met has confirmed that Riley's right about FEDRA. Captain Kwong says a kind word and suddenly everyone is okay with FEDRA again.
This is like my eight time seeing this show. I did not cry the first time I watched it, but every time I watch this episode, I get closer and closer to breaking. I legit was almost sobbing this time around. Bella and Storm do fucking phenomenal in this episode. The way they portrayed the DLC (This episode is based off of the DLC "Left Behind" was honestly flawless perfection in my eyes. I kind of liked the DLC more because I love playing as Ellie, and they could not have done a better job with this episode. God...Fucking perfection. And your reactions to everything were so funny and sweet! Wes, you were so right not to trust anything, but Chay you were also right to have at least a bit of hope. I know everyone did.
I knew I was an old homo when I heard the carousel play that song by The Cure and started singing along to just like a dream! This episode made me superrrr 😔 then It registered that ellie was about to find out she's immune and possibly the cure....I see what you did director! Very crafty!
Feel this episode was utterly incredible like most actually but this one came at a good time and gave ellie the depth she needs to progress in this medium (tv) this was a dlc from after the game finished and i remember quite vividly asking why this wasn't part of the main game rather than all the hints pertaining to Riley... It made sense i guess cause in yhe game universe it prolonged the experience and dare i say it.....made money.. glad yhey did this mid season...it corrected a few wrongs and imo that says a lot about what this story means to neil and the entire crew.
It's hard to see an adaption that's better than the game itself, especially with the DLC special. This gave me much more of a shock value (Even though I knew what was going to happen) But it still hurts, nonetheless. PS It feels weird seeing the show indirectly coming at you. Justice for all the Bethanys out there. XD
