Woody, doing multiple videos each day would allow you to do more than one "series" of videos.
I'm the kind of viewer that starts watching a channel regularly because, when I first visit their channel, I see they've got something more than random/miscellaneous videos. This regularity in content format is what keeps me coming back to you, seananners, and others, because I can be pretty certain of what kind of content you'll have up at a given time of the week. Ex: PKA, Mail Mondays, etc.

I like Joe on here. They actually talked about something other than gaming and would you rather/hypotheticals the whole time. It was a nice change of pace. Maybe thats because I'm an MMA fan as well.
I think that the gaming communities that are being led by other fairly large commentators really help new guys get a great start if the like community manager or w/e like them.
I didn't want it to end....and Joe needs to be in more of these!

to add onto wings example of hospitals losing money, i basically got a concussion from hockey and i was told by my doctor to just go to the hospital becuase she couldnt get me in because she was to busy and all they did at the hospital was look into my eyes, ask me three questions, then said i had a grade 3 concussion then three weeks later my dad showed me the bill and it was 1thousand dollars

as i said in my post, im not gay. i dont talk to women about topics like men or clothing or anything. its just nice to talk about things that require an IQ over 100. i have around 5 friends that are guys and they constantly make fun of men and women all day and i think that its idiotic whereas i can talk to one of my other friends that are girls and talk about a book i like or movies or anything that happened lately. it just seems that the conversations are more intelligent.
I really liked this PKA, especially the politics part ^^. A lot of people don't know anything about the companies influencing the government, and this was a great way to get it out a little.

@MrMisterFreshh actually, minecraft doesent have bad graphics, its just the general assumpetion, the standard texure is 16 bit, as its simpler and its considered a way of art, but the color "trueness" is the way of high quality
I listened to this because im a huge mma fan. Now im also a j. lauzon fan and a fan of the PKA.
@tHeZaNdWhIcH - It used to be instant. However, now all the view numbers are run through some kind of data checking so that they know it's not botted, faked, etc. Eventually the views will show up.

@JamieWilmotSOS Yeah, but it wasn't dude. He had the game audio on full blast. It was drowning out all the conversation. He re-uploaded it though. I'd watched it earlier. That's why I said " Forgot to post the first time."
i do the same thing when i play sports i just clear my head and focus on what im doing, i dont pay attention to odds or anything

@FaleiaFrost Oh, you're right, I was mistaken. I guess I wasn't thinking, and I thought "pay to play" meant you had to buy it. I forgot that it meant you had to pay on a regular basis to play it.
Still, though, you say "If it was pay to play it might have 2k players."
If CoD was pay-to-play they'd have like 1/10 of their user base as well, so that doesn't really mean anything.
Another thing to consider, is that if you're a father and someone is messing with your kid, you're expected as a father to physically fight this guy and win. If you lose, you risk being seen as a failure in your son's eyes. Another point for men.

For the discussion around 45 minutes. 'Should Woody quit his job to do youtube full-time?' I think it is important to mention that people listen to Woody for his perspective. A stay-at-home dad who plays video games for a living...may not have a wide view of the world.
Regarding the youtube channel I think your channel is brilliant as it is. You get a comfortable amount of videos out, and 99% of them are top notch. You don't need to do full time youtubing in my opinion.

Woody dividends are taxed twice, once when the company earns the income. Second when the dividend is paid. The system is setup so that you pay the same tax no matter how you earn the money. Of course some smart companies have found tricks around it. E.g offshore income has 0% tax. Overall though i'd say dividend income is taxed the same.
Woody, in just under two years you will have your own multiserver set up of minecraft.
@115gangsta It's all preference. I'm just a competitive, intelligent, shooter guy who needs that level of unpredictability in a game (Hardcore multiplayer). You can get really good at CoD, but you can never write a formula for success. You can however get a steady routine down for surviving in Minecraft, all you need is experience and time with the game. I've never played the game, but I've watched enough gameplay videos to draw an opinion. I just don't feel like I'll ever really get into it.

I've never played Minecraft, but I can tell you right now that I wouldn't like it, at least not for long. I'm an intelligent guy and I'd quickly realize the premise of games. Find stuff and build stuff, that pretty much all there is to MC. There is no human element that cannot be fully predicted. It's for that reason that I love CoD and other multiplayer shooters, because as smart as I may be, I'll never be able to fully predict the actions of another human. I also need excitement in games.

I lived in South Carolina and a friend of my aunt is from India, her friend's parents go home every six years to avoid the tax and they own a couple hotels tax free, it's just criminal.
People hate on Syndicate but he has, what like just over 500,000 subs and that way more than wings and most people. He makes good content, constant content and that's why he has so many subs end off.
I'm going to hop on the bandwagon, Woody ate his words in this video so much! Minecraft IS a good game, don't judge before you play it.

1:03:30 I disagree if someone works harder they shouldn't pay more taxes if anything less they are contributing more to the economy and I think that overtime should definitely not be taxed, rich corporations should be taxed more (especially tobacco companies) and taxes should be based on how much you make per hour not per year. that's just penalizing the hard workers.

@0fof0fo I know. I abandoned multiplayer as my main source of entertainment from games about a year ago, and I fucking love it. I don't have to worry about keeping up. I don't have to worry about losing my touch. I don't have to worry about transitions. I don't have to worry about having the newest DLC.

@kuntekinte2009 totally agree with that. being a senior software architect is hard to come by (and I would imagine took a few years of hard work and dedication to get to!), and if something as substantial as the playstation network can be hacked, so could youtube...the unpredictability is outrageous with technology...
i do lots of Minecraft and i use about 5-6 hours a day to make a minecraft video with the gameplay and editing and rendering :D

I play FPS shooters.. like a boss if I might add. I've played World of Warcraft for 6 years, I play Wii, I play Minecraft. I golf, I do Chess tournaments, I'm in the drama club, and on breaks I prefer to be by myself. Where does that place me? I'm curious. And by the way... if you want to meet chicks on Xbox Live, go to UNO on the Arcade game, activate the web cam option. Try it, I'm serious. And about the taxes, so people who work harder should have to give up more? Think about that.

woody lets say: you make 100,000 if off youtube for example and you are making one vid a day. If you do youtube full time (2 vids a day). That could be like 200,000. The question is-if you did youtube full time would you make more money than with your job currently?
I've been boxing for some time now and im semi-good at it. But once i fight another (taller) person I always have the idea that my hits suddenly arent hard at all. because unlike when im just practising i cant seem to get a good hit at them :(
