When you’re strung out on benzo’s like me you start to lose the plot & it’s harder to get off than heroin (never pinned thank God) and all u wanna do is go back to God you feel like you seriously can’t be around others because you’re either sinning (being fucked up on drugs to feel normal) or have sick thoughts in your head that you and your close ones know are not your own... 😓 it’s an incredibly hard battle, one that if not won, will send someone to their grave... Just like my father. Passed away at 37 with a pure and beautiful heart while I was 13 & I’m bout to turn 21 now. God bless Adz. And it’s not just that, rehab can get you off drugs, but rehab can’t undo the nightmare that was your entire childhood. So for us we never had a childhood. We were born into it. And my father did everything he could to set the BEST example in front of me, never even said a word about drugs in front of me and most certainly never told me he was doing them, though my mum had to tell me at the age of 5 so that I knew when he was having psychotic episodes and attacking my family members that I knew it’s not him and it’s the drugs, and I firmly understood that as a child. I’m grateful I had the situation I did, but not everyone gets the game from as early on as I did... And may we all get out of it ASAP. Amen.
