    The bearings in the 144/124019 hubs are actually only 1.8mm, in a later video I've found a better way in my opinion to use less shims or none at all. Check out the later video for updated hub wobble information. Also subscribe! To the channel for more mods/fixes

    Hi, after a violent crash against a wall today, my 144001 drove a bit strange. Still fast, but it was no longer extremely fast after the crash. If you accelerate and stop accelerating, the wheels stop immediately. (The tires stops not smooth, rather immediately). So, the tires don't roll easily after I stop accelerating, stop turning immediately as if I had turned the tires tight. Do you know what's broken?

    • @mehimrc1314
      @mehimrc1314 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is like a zodiac riddle,i'll need to ask questions to even be in with a chance of telling you. You've crashed yet the car works but the wheels stop once you let off the accelerator? Hmm are the dog bones and cvd straight? Is the drive shaft straight? The motor could of shifted and tightened the mesh on the spur gear. If all those things are ok then your diffs are absolutely shot. Or depending on how bad the crash was it could be all of the above.

    8 mm outer diameter seem to be bigger than the bearings, and it grip something on plastic holder when screwing the wheel nut , costed me 5€ for nothing.
    Checked the received washer size and washer seller did not made an error. Also checked you are not using imperialist stuff, and you wrote millimeters in the comments.
    But seems to be promising IF you find the good diameters, gonna try to find a washer that could fit behind the bearing inside the plastic, so the rotating piece of metal will touch the bearing and not the washer.
