I just use the "Save to Notion" web clipper - it doesn't get the content of the email into Notion, but it copies the link of my email from gmail and gets it to a notion page as a URL - when I need to access the email in notion, I just click on the link on the notion page and it takes me to the email
I'll give that a try, James! If you do this, though, it would seem like you need to save the original email vs. delete or archive, right? Not a big deal, since it's easy to create a folder for those emails. Thanks!
@@4MinuteAnswers I archive the email after I "Save to Notion" with the web clipper - the URL remains the same whether the email is in the inbox or archived. So, here are the steps: 1) I get an email in my inbox that I want to deal with later; 2) I use "Save to Notion" web clipper to save the email URL to a task in my task database; 3) I archive the email - when I need to do the task, the email URL is in the task note (as a property) - I simply click on the URL and the email comes up. This way, I have I achieve inbox zero in gmail
@@4MinuteAnswers Great! Happy to help - Here's some extra info: When I save an email, it is almost always to my task database (I use Notion as my task manager) because the email is something I need to do later. With the "Save to Notion" extension, you can fill in the database fields on the extension before you save the email/page. So, I 1) open up the email I want to save; b) clip it with the "Save to Notion" extension; c) fill out the date, tag, etc. fields on the extension for my task database (you can configure this in the extension), d) save it; e) archive the email. The email and all the task properties are saved in notion in my task database - I archive the email and forget about it - this entire process takes about 5 seconds. The task comes up (with the email link) on the due date in my notion task database. I click the URL, and the email opens up - easy!
Thanks James. I did create a new video that included your comment and how to use Save to Notion. th-cam.com/video/lTFDVXo6SEc/w-d-xo.html. Thanks for your help!
get an Evernote account? most people who left Evernote are notion users. you forgot to mention in order to send emails from Evernote you have to have a paid account.
Hi Peleg. That's an interesting question. When I downloaded Evernote, the two default areas I had were "Inbox" and "Cabinet". If you don't see "Inbox", you can create a new Workbook and just call it "Inbox" and that can work! Thanks!
Thank for the video. You're not responsible, but both solutions are to complicated. What is needed is a simple drag & dropf into the corresponding page. Notion should be able to provide that.
No PDFs ... more manual work, life is speeding up too much. Evernote now also doesn't allow this with a free account - perhaps trello which integration works well ...

This channel deserves far more attention. Great content and greatly presented (I like to hear your voice)
4 Minute Answers is a GREAT name for a channel!
Print option on phone works for me. It directly creates pdf in new Notion page.
Wow, the first method is onerous in terms of work, and the second--a PDF? It would be much better to get them into the body of a Notion document.
High hopes for the Notion Videos because whatever Notion's merits may eb it's clunky and hard to get up and running quick
