Man you are incredibly talented and have a knowledge base that is sick! Love that you have the balls to do this kind of thing. Keep it coming, I am living your dream along with you vicariously!
Wow! That's a nice 5th wheel. I noticed a week ago I went out to check a few RV and 5th wheels. Once the slides are out they're HUGE inside. Also a few units have a commode in the back so you don't have to be unfolded to use the bathroom during travel. None of the windows or vents were open or any of the units, it was hotter than.. out I would have loved to check out with ventilation or air on. But some of these units are bigger than a studio. I'd say you got a heckofva deal 17k. Nice job! Oh if you're going to full time it where it us, find a hot tub, that would make a great segment LOL, do a deck and some lights, and some of these have an outdoor shower you can rinse off. I don't know the water or sewer situation. But this is something I'd love to do.
I've had the 5th wheel . If you're not buying a Motorhome a 5th wheel is the way to go. There will be days that you're in the 5er. That being said , you dont feel cramped inside because of the high ceilings. The other reason I love the Motorhome it's always cool when traveling . You stop for lunch , you dont have to wait for it to cool down. They all have pluses and negatives.
Dude...pouring a pad is way cheaper than you think. I bet it wouldn't have cost as much as all that work you just had done. And the slides should only be put out/in if you're leveled...you certainly don't move it around with the slides out.
Place some large pads or cribbage under the jacks to disperse the weight and you won't have as many issues with the RV settling. The small surface area of the jack plates will continue to sink especially on the crushed gravel.
You should label the slide outs. Help you guys remember which one is which. Get yourself one of those typing labelers to make the label neat and readable.
But I can't help to notice that you keep on saying that people may have stolen all those modules but you forget how many times insurance fraud is made you may have gotten a vehicle that may have been near a flood and the owner of the vehicle removed all the modules to show that the vehicle had been flooded and none of the items are no longer working so the insurance may have just written it off.
you rented the part of land where you kept your 5th wheel or bought it? I think the beauty is you can go anywhere with this setup as long weather is not crazy.
No I cannot tag it or insure it but I bought it to live in it not to travel but if I really wanted to I can get temp tags and get extended truck coverage and then it will be covered. Non repairable titles in the trailer world is not serious at all.
What size is your trailer i have a Park Model Travel Trailer do you have a Facebook I'll show you my park model I have 2 flip outs on my trailer I turned one of my flip outs into a small bedroom with a twin bed a curtain and during the day it's a couch
@@RebuilderGuy how much would you say you make from TH-cam per month? A lot of Channels with around the same subscriber count you have claim to make some good $ and I was just wondering if you could shed some truth on that?
After buying projects and expenses and trying to keep up with content I end up paying out of pocket but I love recording and editing so whatever I make on here only helps to get projects quicker. Hope that helps.
What an amazing machine, glad to see you getting it fixed 😁

At least you always have people helping you.
Awesome setup man! 👍

Your woman is dedicated and loyal that’s for sure.
Need to put pads under the level jacks.

What are your recommendations, before buying an RV or 5th wheeler??
Really good video. keep it up.

👍👍👍
Was the main reason for watering the ground as you laid it for dust or is it easier to compact that way?
Road base holds much better when you lay it down lasts a bit longer
If you do a Weekend Warrior a lot of people are in the market
Does the slideouts still work and not off track?
Some comfort at least !

Didn't qutie understand what the tripods function was, anybody explain, thanks.
to shore up where the receiver is siting. Almost like its sitting on a truck
With a 'non-repairable' title can you ever tag or insure the RV?
No I cannot tag it or insure it but I bought it to live in it not to travel but if I really wanted to I can get temp tags and get extended truck coverage and then it will be covered. Non repairable titles in the trailer world is not serious at all.
Is the non-repairable title a final thing, or can you get the RV inspected and re-titled?
You take off the manufacturer decals and such, title it as home built. Easy, did this on a TT
Install a espar diesel heater well maybe not a good solution
what about sewer?

41ft
Would be better on 2x8 boards
What do you do for a living? Is this all youtube money?
